“Good food and fast delivery. The pieces of lamb in the madras curry were fairly tender, which is not common in the other places in the area in my experience. Good veg samosa as well. Will be ordering again.”

“This is one of those special places, no idea why it's so empty maybe folks are put off by no liquor license? Food is wonderful and good variety. Staff are attentive without being intrusive. Very competitive on price too. Popadoms, starters, main with one side and a couple of soft drinks came in at just under £40. We were stuffed & took half of it home for another day”

“If u want authentic food not western food. Right place to come. Price is good cheaper than other restaurants. Quality of food is good too. Staff are polite. Off course prices have increased which is understandable but still highly recommended. I always takeway. I wouldnt say its restaurant type of service but there is a sitting area with a tv screen. Saag is a must to try”

“We have moved out of the area, but my family still make me drive 30 minutes to pick up food from Spice Box. We like their spicy meat done and Naga wings. They are not stingy with their chilli sauce and its nice too. There are parking bays outside the restaurant and just a short walk away. They deliver locally.”

The samosas were ready to be collected on-time on a Sunday morning and all the guests who tried them said how nice they tasted so was a big success. I find the food delicious at sugar and spice and highly recommend them.”

“Delicious traditional Gujarati (Kathiyawadi) food served at this restaurant. They cater all types of Indian veg food including North Indian aswell as South Indian food dishes. We visited this place specially to try Gujarati food and were well impressed with their traditional freshly made mouthwatering food and excellent customer service. A must try if you want to have traditional Gujju and Mumbai (Bombay) food in uk.”

Restaurant filled up quickly and lots of takeaways happening. Has been around since the late 1950’s so tells you how good it is.”

We ordered a fish curry, channa masala, bhatura, lamb curry, butter chicken, sheekh kebab plain rice, coconut rice, plain and onion/chilli naan. “I have loved this little canteen for at least 20 years. Discovered it after a museum trip with a hungry small child and they were so happy to accommodate us and the food was so tasty, cheap and authentic! Nowadays the prices have gone up a little, but it is still a very economical place to go. I recommend sticking to the Chinese menu as the Malaysian dishes are less authentic, but they are delicious nonetheless. The staff are really friendly and the food arrives fast, so it's fine to under order and order more if needed. Portions are decent. Huge recommend.”

“A couple of days ago the restaurant was full pack and busy. There was rugby match I guess ...even then i had a very nice experience here. Staff are very nice and helpful. We struggled to place our order as the food menu was big. The staff Johnny was patient and understanding and also helped us in food selection. And You have many choice of food, such as mutton, lamb, chicken, fish prawns …etc etc etc. The new boy was quick in clearance. The area is beautiful, antic wooden deco, the vehicle truck is a must to see... Though there was a little wait for the wine bottle...I have nothing to complain about this place! ❤️”
