“My daughter & I spent 9 nights here before the beginning of her study-abroad program. We'd selected a hotel in eastern London to be closer to the Goldsmith's campus; this was lucky for us as we happened to be there during the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II (thus we were well out of the way of the crowds and closed-off streets). The room was comfortable and had a great shower. Loved the comfort of the beds and pillows. Room service was fast and great. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The hotel is 2 or 3 minutes from a Tube station which was very convenient. The Tower of London/Tower Bridge was about 8 minutes walking time away. Felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood and many pubs & restaurants were within 20 minutes walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.”

“27 August- 2 September 2022 The front desk service was very attentive and professional. We were greeted by Xinchen Li Guest Relations Manager whom was so so helpful. Her PR is excellent and took us in with open arms. The hotel ambience was warm and welcoming with the right mix of traditional, classic charm with a contemporary feel. We are enjoying every minute in your esteem hotel. The doorman remembers our name and welcoming us every time when we returned. Our room was deluxe, clean and fresh, lovely bed and amenities. The bathroom is very clean and fresh and all we need is there. Everybody from staff is friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay, location is great too, a short stroll to the tube station. We will definitely come back!”

“Best dining experience of my life! Absolutely incredible food, attention to detail from the friendly waiting staff and a super cool & ambient atmosphere made for a 10 out of 10 experience! You will not be disappointed with the "All in" menu whether you eat meat or are vegetarian/ vegan - every single dish was beautifully assembled and tasted phenomenal! There was so much variety too. From wherever you sit in the restaurant, you can also see the care & effort the chefs put in to preparing the food and the waiting staff genuinely seem proud and knowledgeable about the food they're serving to you. Simply cannot fault Silo.”

“French charm, exquisite cuisine, great service. It feels almost like a time travel. It takes you to good old times, somewhere in Paris. The noise of the city is left outside. Nice and cozy interior. Attentive staff. Top quality French cuisine. Feels very authentic. They do Canard de Rouen a la Presse, which is quite rare these days. I had their signature Simmenthal beef tartare. It is skillfully prepared at the table. We had it medium spicy and it was out of this world. The taste, the texture is just a perfection. I also ordered Agneau en Croûte or Lamb Wellington which was an absolute delight. Another dish mastered to a perfection. At one moment I had an illusion of being a jury member at the French cuisine competition and served with a champion dish. Wine list is well balanced and I liked it had some fine half-bottles as well. The only remark I have is for the plateau de fromages. I wish the selection of cheese could be even better. My strong recommendation for anyone looking for an old fashioned small French restaurant in London. And sincere thanks to the team.”

“The afternoon tea here was absolutely phenomenal. My two children (8 and 5) were so thrilled with the cute and delicious food, and the wonderful atmosphere. The best highlight was our server, Hafize. She was so thoughtful and kind, but also took her time to develop a personal connection with us. My girls adored her too, she was so sweet with them. We left with our bellies and hearts full!”

“The place is gorgeous, the views would’ve been if it hadn’t been a foggy day as well The food is spot on, they made a mistake with our order but they recognised quickly and were very nice and apologetic about it. The large menu is A LOT of food, so make sure you are hungry! We went for a drink outside after the meal, and although I wasn’t personally very keen on the choice, my party LOVED them! Wide range and knowledge bar staff was key. Overall the food and the experience was spot on”

Great food. The room was spacious, clean and had facilities that i needed including iron kettle...I loved the the hotel decor and the building. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. “I went for one night with a friend for a special occasion and everything was amazing. We received an upgrade from the house to a family room. It had two queen beds and two bathrooms, just for two of us! At the arrival, there was an amazing bottle of Prosecco, a card and some chocolate strawberries waiting for us to celebrate our special occasion. The bed was very comfortable and was a shame when I had to leave early.. I would have loved to have a lie- in! The lobby manager Anna was very professional and kind. I really enjoyed my stay and I hope to get back as soon as possible.”

“Having had a not such great experience the first time I was here I was skeptical about coming back. I gave it a second chance and I came with some friends and I had to re-write this review. Firstly last time when I came I waited over an hour to be seated with a reservation. This time we were seated at our reservation time which was good and I felt they listened to my previous message. The food seemed much better this time around. I loved everything we ordered. We finished everything and didn't leave a single bite it was so good. Our server was amazing, she was polite and able to help with a few custom changes per dietary requirements which was amazing. I am glad I came back and I will be sure to come back again if the experience is as good as this one was.”

“This is an incredible restaurant. My wife went to Nobu in Marbella, Spain earlier in the year and she absolutely loved it. This place was just absolutely amazing. It's a real treat to come here for dinner. The Interiors, decor, service and food is just mind-blowing. Yes, it is expensive but I highly recommend this to anyone!”

“We are back home in Sydney now – the end of our 2 month holiday in Europe – but before we left London last Tuesday, we celebrated with a late lunch at one of our London faves Cecconi’s, in the beautiful Ned Hotel. If you haven’t been I highly recommend it as one of the most beautiful establishments around - from start to finish, around every corner, there is yet more to adore. Restaurants, cafes, bars… I will write a separate review about The Ned. We’ve eaten here several times - the food always consistently good. The staff less so unfortunately, though I should say, there is a pecking order of levels here, from basic servers to more senior waiters - this time we were lucky & our waiter was a dream - he dealt wonderfully with all my nitty gritty questions, knew all the answers and helped me so much, with no attitude whatsoever. He welcomed & in fact encouraged my questions, which is extremely rare! Wayne had a delicious Chardonnay - Cervaro Chardonnay, Castello della Sala, Umbria, which at £19 per glass you’d hope so! My non-alcoholic Punchy was perfect. We shared 2 entrees which were delicious - the Vitello Tonnato is one of the best. Very generous serve – tender & the sauce just right. Our mains were superb as well - my pasta was cooked al dente & the cheese was so refined. Personally I think a thinner pasta works better to soak up more sauce but it was delicious all the same. Wayne’s Veal was so tender & tasty. Rarely can we fit in dessert - how do people do it!”

“We had a fantastic stay. We used it as a base to visit the Harry Potter studio tour which was only a ten minute drive away. The hotel was beautiful and clean and staff very helpful. The room was kitted out with a little fridge so my youngest could have her yoghurt in the morning. Breakfast staff very accommodating to my 2 excited children and because it was my sons birthday we even got an extra treat in our room and a birthday card for him which made his day. Short walk to town centre and Watford train station so will come again for London trip next year!”

“The receptionists were exceptional and friendly, especially Cătălina and Jonathan. My family enjoyed Gary's hospitality and friendliness in the executive lounge. Being a Gold Hilton honour member has a few perks, one of which is complimentary breakfast, although this breakfast was worth every penny. First thing in the morning, seeing friendly faces and tasteful breakfast was the best start to the day each and every day we stayed. Our room was nice, clean and refreshed daily. If you’re visiting London for any reason, I highly recommend this hotel”

“Had an amazing dinner at the restaurant here, truly lovely experience. We were well looked after by Laura C and had a beautiful menu put together by Sandi R. I don't remember the names of everything, but the caviar tacos were amazing, and the salmon. The tuna nigiri was so beautiful. Definitely recommend for a lovely dinner experience.”

“Ate twice here, while visiting. A nice and quick breakfast, and then some fish and chips for dinner with a pint later. Both meals were tasty, quickly served and great value for money. Staff was very friendly. More locals than tourists here and I (as a tourist) enjoyed the experience.”

“Stayed here whilst working nearby. Hotel has a very grand entrance/foyer. Room was fairly spacious and had everything we needed. Was a bit of a maze in the hotel, with lots of corridors. I went for a bit of a wander and there are lots of function rooms situated to the top of the hotel. When we stayed it was quiet so we had a good nights sleep. Staff were friendly and helped when our key card stopped working.”
