An outstandingly established barber indeed he is an artist with scissors in hand and will pay close attention to detail that you may not even notice. Once he gets to see you a few times he will master your unique hair and particular style needs. I would go further and say finding the right barber for you goes even beyond getting a hair cut. It's the relationship that matters as well, it's true that being in the chair means being in the care of. And Tony has a special ability notice every single customer and connect with you no matter the walk of life you come from. He is approachable and makes you feel very welcome and at ease to be speak your mind and communicate what you require. Really fun games master/ Sarah added the voice to enhance our room ‘Blackbeards Treasure’. Great help where needed although the games master did make us sweat and think which is great! We only managed the room with 9 seconds spare!”

“I have a very nervous staffie cross mastiff that hates his feet being touched, his nails were in desperate need of trimming. I called today and they kindly offered to fit him in at the end of the day. These guys done an Absolute amazing job cutting my boys nails. It wasn’t an easy task but with patience’s and team work they got the job done! Fantastic team! I can’t thank you enough!”

“This was our first visit as we were just visiting the area for a few days. It was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”

“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

“I always come to this salon if I want a pedicure. Compared to other places, the price is reasonable and the service is good. They do get busy (as they are popular) so I always try to book now. There is a good range of nail colours and the ladies who have done my pedicures have always been thorough and done a great job. I go for gel polish and find it lasts me well. I would recommend a pedicure here. The staff are always polite and helpful.”

“I have bad anxiety and went into Kingston to get a winter coat with my Fiance. It was so busy because of Christmas we went in M and S and John Lewis which where really busy because and couldn’t find anyone to help. We past white stuff and thought we would look around. We met Charlotte who works there. She was lovely and patient. She helped me look and try on coats with no pressure to buy and even suggested there could order a coat if they didn’t have the size. I found a lovely coat and Charlotte said if I changed my mind I could bring it back. I am so happy with my new coat and would definitely go back to that shop. Thank Charlotte.”

The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention!
