“Britain’s oldest purpose built cinema delivers every time. We watched Nomadland here yesterday and some films are just made for the big screen. So much crying in the dark. The top floor bar is sadly still closed. But the process felt very Covid safe and well organised. Staff are always lovely.”

“My daughter & I spent 9 nights here before the beginning of her study-abroad program. We'd selected a hotel in eastern London to be closer to the Goldsmith's campus; this was lucky for us as we happened to be there during the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II (thus we were well out of the way of the crowds and closed-off streets). The room was comfortable and had a great shower. Loved the comfort of the beds and pillows. Room service was fast and great. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The hotel is 2 or 3 minutes from a Tube station which was very convenient. The Tower of London/Tower Bridge was about 8 minutes walking time away. Felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood and many pubs & restaurants were within 20 minutes walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Being a Sushi aficionado myself I am super impressed by what this little independent sushi is able to pull off. The fish menu is fresh, portion is great and for the price the quality food is comparable or dare I say even better than some of the expensive sushi restaurants in central london! Definitely a hidden gem in Chiswick that’s worth visiting!”

“before we delivered by uber, but today went to the place. this is magic! the place is so cozy, staff is not bothering, they come to the table right moment when you need something. you can see how they make sushi jn front of you, place is clean, toilet was a bit messy but was late evening so its fine. signature roll was the best, and terriaki duck was amazing. will order from home and will go back deffinetly soon. 100/10”

“Best curry in surrey we went this evening and had an amazing meal. Quiet time between Xmas and new year so had the place to ourselves but service was charming and unobtrusive. Had a lovely chat with the owner and his sister, the chef. The food was amazing! Great starters- Tandoori fish, spinach and kebabs but the star was the laal mas which had an incredible sauce with such a depth of flavour! Good value for money, good wine and we have already booked to go back in Jan and take friends. Thank you for a lovely evening! 28th May 2022 We went back this evening for dinner and food and service was fantastic again! Street snacks are amazing and warm and welcoming service.”

“We just had a cod and chips from here and WOW! The batter was light, not oily at all and the fish was so fresh and tasty. We got a take away and the fish and the chips were still crispy by the time we got home (mind you we are only 6 mins from this place). All in all 5 out of 5. Love it!”

“I took my wife here for our anniversary dinner, this was a week day due to childcare and the restaurant still had a lovely atmosphere, enough people to give a feeling of being in your own little bubble. We had a mixed platter to share to start, it was fantastic a very good size with a lovely selection. We both had a Tagine for our mains, I had the meatball with egg and the wife had lamb shank, they both came out extremely hot and the smell was amazing, neither dishes disappointed they were both beautiful. I also a had a pear and almond tart that I would highly recommend, a great finish to a lovely meal certainly worth a try. Staff were great very attentive without being intrusive. Also gave us a desert for free as it was our anniversary very nice touch, thank you.”

“Total find and bit of a hidden gem on a quiet street in SE London, and easily accessible by train or a huge number of buses in south London. The staff were so friendly, warm and accommodating and super polite and professional. Decor was stylish and the venue impeccable. Cocktails were unique and delicious. Would recommend to groups of friends, couples and for events. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Best dining experience of my life! Absolutely incredible food, attention to detail from the friendly waiting staff and a super cool & ambient atmosphere made for a 10 out of 10 experience! You will not be disappointed with the "All in" menu whether you eat meat or are vegetarian/ vegan - every single dish was beautifully assembled and tasted phenomenal! There was so much variety too. From wherever you sit in the restaurant, you can also see the care & effort the chefs put in to preparing the food and the waiting staff genuinely seem proud and knowledgeable about the food they're serving to you. “I had a great lunch at Beach Bar Grill and thoroughly enjoyed the seafood mix while my daughter loved the quarter chicken with lemon and herb. The ambience was nice with afrobeats playing and African art adorning the walls. The customer service was attentive prompt and friendly. I would definitely go back and try out more of the cuisine. My two suggestions for improvement would be for the squid to be a little more tender and for a lobster pick/ fork to be provided.”
