Nandine - Vestry Road
● Closed“Would highly recommend for breakkie or lunch. The breakfast platter was delicious and we shared baklava for a sweet treat. The boreks also looked amazing which I would get if passing! Only downfall was my oat milk latte which was possibly the strongest coffee I’ve ever had… almost undrinkably so!”

Sami's Kitchen
● Closed“This place is so underestimated! An absolute gem of Leytonstone. From the outside, you might just walk past but once you’re inside you are instantly impressed with wonderful friendly service, outstanding food and delicious wine. The chef here is brilliant! Every single dish we had was absolutely delicious. Our party of four shared the prawn and saffron risotto, Mediterranean sea bass, sticky steak salad and prawn in white wine sauce and we were absolutely bowled over by how delicious they were! Highly recommended”

The Waffle Bar
● Closed“Visited yesterday approx 1pm on a Monday, as a couple, our first time, and it was excellent! Was really quite busy, which was great to see, but can also understand why. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, lovely design of the place and all crockery. Food was really fresh, perfectly priced and timed perfectly. Great menu, we had a tea each, bacon syrup waffles and chicken, pesto toastie. Nice range of ages in there too, friends getting together, family afternoon teas, couples and generally people out for lunch. 100% recommend, and will be back.”

Angelina
● Closed“My friend and I had the pleasure of dining at Angelina in London, and I can't recommend this restaurant enough! It's a small, intimate space offering an innovative menu that blends Japanese and Italian cuisines. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting ambiance, which is enhanced by the sleek marble counter and the open kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work. I loved the cozy and intimate atmosphere of Angelina. The noise level is conversation-friendly which makes it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with good friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Our server was happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had. It felt like they were genuinely interested in making sure we had a great dining experience, which really added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Of course, the real star of the show at Angelina is the food. We opted for the longer, 10-course Kaiseki menu, which was excellent value for the quality of the dishes. In fact at this caliber the price of £64 struck me as too good to be true. The pasta dishes were particularly memorable - I could taste the attention to detail that had gone into each dish. But really, everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented, from the appetizers to the desserts. The combination of Italian and Japanese cuisines was unique and refreshing, and I appreciated the thought that had gone into each dish. Overall, my experience at Angelina was truly exceptional, and it's a restaurant that I would happily return to should I make my way to London again. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable dining experience in London that won't break the bank, Angelina is definitely worth a visit!”

7 Saints
● Closed“We went on a Saturday night for dinner (couple). The vibe was great, very local, relaxed and cosy. The restaurant is small (20 seater) with a very warm atmosphere. The food was delicious (desert too) and the service great. Cocktails seemed nice but we didn't get any. It seemed that all the tables around us were having fun - if you want a place for a nice, relaxed dinner with great quality food this is a place that you have to go.”

MXO
● Closed156 North Gower Street, London NW1 2LU, United Kingdom“AMENDED Shoutout to the staff who work at MXO! They went above and beyond for my dining experience with my cousin. Apologies in not remembering your names, when they were fresh in my mind. However, the food was TOP NOTCH, as also the cocktail drinks too. The only suggestion I will have to make is your 24 Hour Poussin. I don’t know if mine was 24 hours ready or not? The marination didn’t penetrate the white meat. I look forward to trying your Seabass main, as you was sold out of it at the time. Thank you so much for the conversation, service and complimentary drinks. Will be visiting again. Viva La MXO!!!!”
