Toriton Izakaya
● Closed“Eddie and his wife Evvie (?) were the perfect hosts. Two of our group were gluten free and we rang ahead and discussed our food options with Eddie ahead if time. We were super confident that there was no cross contamination and they took our dietary requirements seriously. That aside , the food was amazing! Fresh, flavourful and just so tasty. I was a tad sceptical about this place in comparison to a London restaurant but I have to honestly say it may well have been better in flavour, service mist definitely was friendly and personable. Very much coming back!!! Thank you !!”

Sushi Heads
● Closed205b Philip Lane, London N15 4HL, United Kingdom“Brilliant little sushi and Japanese grocery shop that is a family staple for us - we have been treating ourselves to their food every Friday for the last couple of years (and other times here and there as well). Naomi is a fantastic chef, sushi is lovely and also find out when they do hot food and check it out. Freezers are also full of little treats you can take away and enjoy at home, from green tea ice cream to mochis, to edamame and kimchi. You may also find hand made cards, little gifts like ceramic cups or special chopsticks, or other surprises - just check it out! You won’t be disappointed!”

Thank you very much for your kindness, good service and the gift bottles! The chef's special was much appreciated. Can't wait to go back! A must visit in London!”

Ottimmo Bao Bao
● Closed“This place is fantastic. We dined in at around 2pm and had the set katsu chicken, Egg tuck bao, pork toast, spring roll, corn fritte, lychee mojito and rice pudding for desert. Each dish was extremely tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly and the service was very fast. I'm not from the area but we would definitely go here again when next in Uxbridge.”

Marez brasserie
● Open“Absolutely adore this place! I'm here on day 3 of them opening and I'm very pleased with everything. Wonderful simple breakfast and lunch menu I had plain bacon bap but it comes with added extras like melted cheese and poached egg and option to add hash browns. Just love the simplicity of everything the quality of the food was impressive just a bacon bap but it was seriously delicious, just look at the photo! All the items are reasonably priced, for Teddington I'm surprised!! Staff are great, Nihed, his wife and Sam the chef are super friendly and down to earth. I'm so happy this has opened, can't wait to come back with my girls to try the pancakes!!!”

104 Restaurant
● Closed“An exceptional culinary experience we had the privilege to assist as the tube and trains where on strike and we where the only 3 patrons. The 104 is not about being fancy it is about cuisine. The quality of the products, the talent of chef Richard and the kindness of the service (let alone the superb wine list) makes me want to come back very very soon.”

Medlar
● Closed“I booked Medlar for wife's birthday, I saw the reviews were decent and I thought I give it ago myself. I like the menu was just a set price. Either opting for the 2 course or 3 course menu. As it was a celebration we opted for the 3 course menu. The menu looked great with a nice selection of options. My wife went for the crab ravioli to start and I chose the tuna option. Both were really tasty, the tuna was fresh and light with a lovely Asian dressing. We ordered the rioja red wine which was lovely. Its nice you can bring your own wine and pay the corkage fee. They brought us lovely bread through out courses which was a nice touch. My wife had the beef for mains and I went for the monkfish. Both were beautiful cooked and delicious. For dessert I had the chocolate moose and my wife had the creme brulee. If was a lovely finish to the meal. We enjoyed the food it felt quite high end and seemed decent value. As it was my wife's birthday they surprised her with a sorbet with a candle in it and some complimentary marshmallows and chocolate truffles.”

I have had many items on this menu but the best I have had so far by a mile is 100% the freshly made pizza! These are made on site from the pastry to going into the pizza oven! Amazing flavour which really comes through. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!”

ROOTS RESTAURANT
● Closed110 Streatham High Road, London SW16 1BS, United Kingdom“It's a got a good vibe and great staff to dine in, the food was perfect and the shisha was a great finish. The outdoor area is still covered with heat lamps so even in the cold and rain it's not an issue and it even has music that you can control. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for lebanese food.”

-
Buna Ethiopian Restaurant
● Closed“Very good Ethiopian at a very reasonable price. It's £32 for the sharing multi platter for 2 very hungry, or 3 sort of hungry people. The Ethiopian honey wine is definitely worth a try, it tastes a bit like sweet apricot juice, quite nice, £5 for a large glass. It's on the way from Highbury & Islington to Emirates, went there before a cup match midweek and couldn't believe how empty it was. This place is a little gem. If you've never tried Ethiopian, it's a bit like Indian, but it's all plopped in little piles on a big plate in the middle to share.”
-

Umana Yana
● Closed294 Croxted Road, London SE24 9DA, United Kingdom“I have only ever had the patties here but they are amazing (best I have ever had), quite expensive compared to other stores but worth it, fresh/homemade, much better than what you get in most Jamaican/Jerk shops. They tend to sell out of flavours quick so go early.”
