“We chose this lovely restaurant to host my mother surprise 70th private Birthday party. Ardien, the manager, was so incredibly helpful and accommodating in the lead up to the big day. We sat down together with him and his talented chef Matteo to create a memorable menu and seating arrangement for the 30-40 people in attendance. Ardien’s and Matteo’s knowledge, experience and attention to detail really shone through. Nothing was too much trouble and they were determined that my mum got the 70th birthday party she deserved and even recommended a singer for the occasion which we were searching for and therefore opted for. The big day came and my mum and the guests had a fantastic time from start to finish. The entire day was memorable which is testament to Ardien, Matteo and the staff. We are an Italian family so are well versed in eating Italian food all our lives and so too were many of the guests. Every food course was delicious and the service; sublime. It’s safe to say that Punto completely lives up to being an authentic Italian restaurant where so many other restaurants fall short. The singer was also fantastic on that day with guests up singing and dancing. The entire day will certainly live long in the memory of my mum and everyone that attended. THANK YOU Punto’s!”

“Excellent quality of steaks we were three of us and I ordered the Rib Eye which was like butter. All accompaniment dishes like the stem broccoli with French beans and Mac and cheese with a Caesar salad went down very well.Also the house red wine was superb choice. Would definitely come again as the manager was very approachable and a pleasantly joking gentleman.”

“I had my 60th birthday party at Hudson Place last Saturday. Lisa and her staff were amazing from the organisation to the day of the party. The wine bar is perfect for a party where you can dance or sit in a quieter part of the bar. There is also a courtyard to sit outside if you need. The drinks were served without any waiting. We had Prosecco And beer on arrival and their staff were so attentive making sure your glass was topped up. Cocktails are amazing too. We had 70s disco music which everyone enjoyed.”

“What a Gem of a place. Seemingly, in the middle of nowhere. Arrived by taxi from Uxbridge, booked a table prior to a evening's entertainment cabaret show at the local Memorial hall, "When we are Married". The Black Horse, is warm and inviting, we stopped though not long enough to get a drink as Franco the host ushered us through to the restaurant and upgraded our table seeing that we were quite burly lads. We took a prime table with surround views of the entire establishment. Was warm and cosy with the din of family and friends in full conversation and laughter. For aperitif we had a Negroni and my brother had a Aperol spritz and a bottle of white wine with the mains. I had a Slow cooked Pork belly with Savoy cabbage and dauphinoise and an additional dauphinoise, an absolutely and fabulous meal the entire meal was delightful. Will cherish the fabulous moments and foodie memories (yum-yum). Staff were very accommodating and Chef was as pretty as her food delicious. I wanted to stay, though sadly had to go.”

“This was surprisingly a great little chill spot with good tasting food. I was expecting bland bar food, but got very tasty meal, the cheese burger was really juicy and tasted like it was made fresh and not from frozen patties. Drinks service was a bit slow because the place was crowded but this comes with Friday nights I guess.”

“Just had the steak and ale pie with seasonal vegetables. The vegetables were French beans.carrots and red cabbage which was the best I’ve had for very long time. I would visit again. My apologies I didn’t take any images, was to engrossed in eating the meal.”

“Totally delicious lunch! Restaurant was very busy with festive groups but this did not impact on the service provided. Lovely staff who were attentive, friendly and professional. We ate from the festive menu and the food was excellent. My friend said it was the best pork belly she had ever had in a restaurant and my turkey was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. “This is an absolutely fantastic pub for Sunday dinner. The meal was very well prepared and the staff were friendly and answered all of our food allergy questions. I had a traditional Sunday roast which included all the relevant trimmings. The draft beer was also excellent. I would most certainly come back again. “The Gate is a really good place to visit. We had dinner they on a Saturday night. We had booked in advance, so a table has been reserved for us. The menu is really good, with a really good variety to choose from, including a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the menu gives really good variety for money, including the drinks menu. We started with the vegetarian chili nachos which were delicious and made a really nice change from the traditional meat version. We will definitely go back again.”
