“We were visiting from Texas and my mother in law planned a trip here because my 7 year old son is obsessed with Birds of Prey. This was one of the most amazing experiences we had while in England and life long memories my son will have. The grounds are immaculately kept up, the birds and all animals are well taken care of. They have meerkats, pigs, goats, lambs, and huskies along with so many birds. The bird experience was amazing and watching their keepers explain in detail about each one made it incredibly fascinating. We will visit again in the future 1000%. There is a little playground on site and plenty of parking space available. Also the drive to the Eagle Heights is a breathtakingly beautiful one. Gorgeous views and it is close to a small little village like town.”

“My sons and I visited the Kent Owl Academy today for the meet the meerkats experience. It was such a brilliant experience, hand feeding the meerkats, who are all very friendly. We were even lucky enough to meet the baby meerkats who were adorable. The animals were very well looked after and seemed very happy. The volunteers were all very friendly and informative. A very memorable and special experience, thank you!”

“I had the best time here at Go Ape Cockfosters! Came in a big group celebrating my mums hen and it was an amazing experience. The tree top challenge was very challenging for me but I got through it, I wasn’t rushed and we were all able to go at our own pace. The weather was beautiful and I guess it made it that bit more enjoyable. The zip wires are extremely fun and the tree top routes were physically breathtaking! The staff were brilliant, informative and encouraging and with us from below every step of the way. It was great value for money and I will defo be going back to satisfy the daredevil in me. There is a cafe on site that serves great food, cakes and coffee - very much needed after our adventure. “I'm a pretty laid back person but when it came to planning my wedding, I knew that I would be precious about the flowers. Mad Lilies absolutely nailed them. From my very first enquiry, the team have been amazing! Responsive to emails, always at the end of the phone and fully open to ideas and making everything work. We had a plan and then we had to postpone the day which meant completely new flowers because of the season. Michael and I went to meet Alison to talk things through and we left the meeting on such a high. Alison totally got us, what we wanted and was so enthusiastic, she made us forget about all things Covid and made us excited about our wedding again. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, even a courtesy call on the week of the wedding just to check we were happy with everything. The flowers on the day were stunning. Whimsical, naturally beautiful and I was just blown away with our suspended arch which made the room! The bouquets were even better than I could have imagined and Alison even imparted some crucial bouquet holding advice that I will definitely share with all future brides! I have been a regular at this cafe, through a couple of previous incarnations, since the late 90's when it was also exceptional.
