“In the days where it’s just as easy to go online and order from most companies, it’s the service from the staff that matters the most. I had been tasked with purchasing 10 suits for a work event, no mean feat considering half the wearers were not based in the UK. After an initial chat with Oliver he understood the brief and gave me all the information needed to hand to the relevant people. Once everything was passed back to me I could have simply ordered it online, had it not have been for the exceptional service I first received from Oliver, I wouldn’t have gone back. As it was, I did and ordered them all in store. Oliver is a credit to the business he was attentive, knowledgable and patient and is the sole reason I used the store and not online to make the transaction. I’ve been using CT for over 10 years now and this is by far the best in store experience I’ve had with them. I will be using in store far more now, rather than online for the reasons above. Just to mention, James was also very helpful in arranging the multi suit order and would like to recognise him also.”

We have been served by the store manager, and members of her team, including new staff at the beginning of their time with Schuh We have found the whole team in each and every instance we have used them to be consistently warm and friendly, and show patience even when obviously under pressure at busy times. I have never once felt like we were hurried or pressurised in any way. They always take the time to engage enthusiastically with the children and parents. She really took the time to explain the differences between shoes, give tips on my technique and find the perfect shoe for me. You can tell she is very knowledgeable. I should also mention that I had this excellent service despite the store being very busy. In the end I bought a pair of shoes that I am very happy with, from their online catalogue. “Such friendly staff, anyone that saw me asked if I needed help. The music was pumping it felt like a party. The centre closed at 5pm but there was loads of customers inside and no one pressured to hurry up and leave or stand by the door hinting it's time to close as you do find in most shops. The staff were happy for me to wonder around and asked if I needed anything and answered a couple of my query. One guy even offered to help place an order for me to collect despite it being so late.
