The barber was friendly, welcoming. The hair cut was decent, cut to what was requested to a high standard. Would 100% use this barber again if in the area.”

“I had my cat, Charlie, registered at Aspen Vets (Abbey Wood branch) for 4 years. He was an aggressive little thing and didn't respond well to most of the staff. For some reason, Rai always managed to handle him well and with no nonsense. He was gentle but firm with Charlie. Rai is based at the Sidcup branch the majority of the time so I went the extra 10 minutes in the car to make sure Charlie was seen by him. I had Charlie put to sleep yesterday, which was very upsetting but Rai outlined every step he was going to take and even every step he might have to take if the first ones didn't work (i.e, if he couldn't find the kidneys, or he couldn't get a vein for the needle). He was extremely empathetic and so very kind to my boyfriend and I - we were obviously in tears and struggling. He was fine with us staying with Charlie through the euthanasia and even checked to see if we'd experienced it before as it's obviously traumatic. I would highly recommend Aspen Vets. Don't be afraid to request a particular vet if your pet responds well to that person; after all, your pet needs to be at ease as much as possible.”

It can be very intimidating walking in to a practice with an ill pet however this was not the case. Thank you to everyone who helped me and the boys so far!”

“Terrified of needing an extraction I went along to Birkbeck as they provide conscious sedation. This too made me anxious, as I did not want to be conscious at all. From my first visit I was reassured by the calm atmosphere and lovely staff. Peter decided the tooth didn't need to come out and recommended root canal. This was performed with the aid of the sedation and was undoubtedly the best dental experience I've ever had. I knew nothing until I awoke around an hour and a half later, treatment completed. My new crown was made and fitted two weeks later . This treatment is expensive but worth every penny. I'm very attached to my teeth (!)and hope to keep them forever. With Birkbecks help that looks to be a real possibility. One very happy and satisfied customer”

“Saw Justine for a couple of months last summer with very bad sciatica due to a nerve being pressed by a lower bulging disc. Never experienced back problems before and the pain was awful. I was left with foot drop too and with a wedding looming I wanted to wear something other than trainers! I went for 8 sessions and within those 2 months everything healed and improved greatly. I never really believed in needling before seeing Justine but I most certainly do now. Along with the exercises, which I still do when my back twinges, I thoroughly recommend this place and Justine.”

“This is the nursery that you would want for your child. My son has been attending the nursery for nearly 3 years. He started when he was 1 year old. He could not settled. The nursery staff took extra time and effort to make it easier for him. He also developed eczema. The nurses were happy to put emollients, creams and the other stuff on his skin. Nothing was problem. We went potty training together, great success, ditched the day nap, again excellent result. We are bilingual family, he learns english in the nursery and speak beautifully without any accent. We also went through a bereavement of my husband and my son's dad. The nursery was extremely supportive, gave me hints, advices and literature. My son loves this nursery, has got his friends, best friends and big friends (nurses) there. They shaped his personality, he is confident in himself. Nursery is excellent, nurses are caring, listening, looking into ability of the child to perform well. They days are full of activities and learning. Also, my son is picky eater, in nursery he eats everything that does not eat him.”

“I had my surgery at Queen Mary's yesterday. I found all the staff very helpful and pleasant and all staff involved in my operation explained everything clearly to me at all times. I felt reassured and looked after. I was told what to do and look out for when I got home and gave me pain relief and leaflets to read. They rung me today at home to see if I was ok. “I visited the Urgent Care at Queen Mary’s Hospital this evening, and I would like to say that I have not been treated with such respect and care in a long time. The staff all introduced themselves by their first names, Margaret the nurse was amazing and made me feel welcome. The doctor Helen was brilliant, she allowed my husband to come in with me as I was quite anxious. She checked me over, and really quickly put me at ease explaining everything in great detail and even showing me examples online. I would highly recommend Queen Mary’s Urgent Care Unit for quick and expert care. Thank you to everyone who helped me through my visit, including the gentleman who was on reception, whose name I didn’t get (sorry). He was funny and made me laugh and put me at ease straight away.
