It's a propa old pub with some characters in there. Staff were so friendly (a special thanks to the lady that booked my daughter under 'princess') Really warm welcoming and friendly pub plus the food was excellent. “If you are looking for an indian restaurant look no further as Ginger Spice is clearly the best. Decorated beautifully with a large comfortable bar area to relax whilst having pre dinner drinks.The waiters are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food was all lovely. The flavours of the spices with the beautiful presentation made every mouthful wonderful. It was a totally different experience for me as I normally choose a sauce based curry but I decided to opt for fish and king prawns and it was so fully of flavour and the fish remained delicate. My husband chose the salmon main and the spice added to a lovely salmon fillet. We were not rushed and had a great interaction with the waiters. They made sure all 10 of us were served together by using a restuarent dessert trolley to bring all of our dishes at once. The only disappointment was another unnecessarily noisy table of 10 next to us which made conversation difficult whilst they were at their table. But that unfortunately happens sometimes nowadays. The main restuarent was much quieter with curved booth setting to give more privacy which is ideal for smaller groups. I can recommend with confidence.”

Although ridiculously busy all the staff were more than happy to accommodate our endless drink requests. The food was to a high standard, I would be happy bring my boss, my mum, or my friends here. I've been looking for a good Chinese takeaway provider but none come up to the standards of provision that the Papadom demonstrate. I keep coming back to Papadom because of their huge variety of flavours, their willingness to vary their dishes when asked and generous portions. And the guys in the shop are just so very polite and accommodating. Martin.”

“Under new Ownership and Despite other negative reviews I have only ever experienced very friendly customer service. I usually collect as live close by but the guys knowing I could not get out due to my son being asleep were willing to deliver using there collection only offer which was a lovely gesture. We usually go for the thin based Pizzas and they are really good. Nice balance between dough, sauce and toppings, not too heavy. Overall this is a fantastic value pizza.”

“Have food from here on a regular basis and has always been very nice. Very friendly delivery drivers as well. Last week I ordered online delivery and when delivered was one item short. That is not my complaint as things like this happen now and again. I rang and explained. Packaged nicely with clear lids to see the food, the sauce pots were in a tray so no risk of leaking in the delivery bag. “Has been my favourite Chinese take-away since moving into the local area in 1997 despite a change of ownership a couple of times. Consistently good food, discount for collection or free local delivery, free prawn crackers if you spend £15. Since last change of ownership, some non Chinese staff on the telephones / front desk that don't seem to be quite as efficient as previous owners/ staff. Occasionally 20 or 30 minutes wait for order to be cooked on Saturday evenings. Generally no complaints and worth the wait.”
