“Phenomenal for a Sunday roast. We got a cute little 6 seater private room to sit in outside. I had the lamb rump which was beautifully tender, some crisp roast potatoes and veggies with of course a Yorkie. They also have seating right by the river for a great view and the service was attentive and friendly!”

“My child and friend (13) wanted to go out to lunch on their own. They had a great time. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly and made the lunch fun. The food was tasty and served quickly and was as delicious and reasonably priced as always.”

“Ordered a set menu meal over the phone and it was great. They were happy to change things out if we wanted. The food was delivered on time and so good! The closest I've got to authentic Chinese in the UK, not too salty and full of flavour. The particular highlights were sweet and sour pork, satay chicken, lemon chicken and beef with mushrooms. 100% recommend.”

“Fantastic community hub... Enabling adults with learning disabilities to get out in the work place and gain experience. Why would you visit this place when the cakes, coffee, sandwiches and jacket potatoes are so so good . Also found out today they provide outside catering too! Cake orders, afternoon teas etc. Such a fab place.”

“Mumbai Square - Wednesday 9th November - 19:30 Entrance has a small step and the external and interior door are manual. Wednesday is banquet night so you get a starter, main and side dish for £15.95 but some dishes in the menu come with an additional cost; not all of us opted for the banquet special but I would definitely recommend it. Poppadom were brought out, nice, warm and fresh. Two of the guests had starters but at 20:50 we still didn’t have the main. I asked the waiter were the food was and he commented that persons had starters and the mains would be brought out when they finished “that’s how we do it here”. I do think they should read the room better as we had finished the starters and were waiting for the mains; if I hadn’t asked I think we would have still been waiting. Plates were hot as was the food. Food was plentiful and was very nice. I have been here before and would come again; overall a nice experience.”

The tables and restaurant itself are always super clean which is hard to find nowadays. The service is excellent. “So many times I’ve driven past this little place, also thought about stopping and give it ago. I finally did, yes I only got a drink and skinny chips. But I wasn’t disappointed. Bloody lovely chips, will be stopping off again and trying some else next time. Staff was great, tables and chairs lovely and clean. The area around the cafe lovely and clean. “I went here with some family on Saturday 2nd July 4 adults and 2 children. We chose from the lunch menu. I had the pear and blue cheese pizza it was gorgeous. There was a lot of choice on the menu and the kids had pizza too which they love. I had the brownie for dessert. The waitress was very friendly and great with boys too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back”

“A great inexpensive hotel. Service was a little slow at times as they seemed short staffed. The same guy checked us in, was later behind the bar and waiting tables for dinner, and was also single-handedly running the front of house for breakfast. Our room was clean and modern. There was a hair dryer but no safe. There are a few shops very close by, but apart from that there's nothing of interest in the local area. The hotel is a good option as a stopover or to use as a base as it's near major roads.”

“This place is actually so good. We tried it out on a whim, and it is miles better than the nearby KFC. While the menu doesn't have as much on it, the food is it fresh and really really hot. Highly recommend.”

“Best Chinese takeaway in the area! I can’t fault any dishes here. I Highly recommend the dumplings, Singapore noodles and, kungpo prawns crispy beef! I see there have been some negative reviews in the past but don’t let this put you off because the food and menu has greatly improved. Staff have been amazing during lockdown and continued to serve high quality food”
