“Purchased a Ceiling Pull Cord Switch 2way in Polished Chrome. A&H Brass dispatched the item promptly, it was received in good condition and well packaged. Slightly disappointed with the item though as it turned out to be plastic (which wasn't stated in the spec) with a chrome-plated brass price tag. I would have happily paid for brass with chrome plating as I was looking for a quality item - hence the reason I chose to purchase from A&H Brass! In the end I swapped out the small bell-shaped pullcord handle for a solid brass, chrome plated handle, so only time will tell if the ceiling rose keeps its finish in a humid bathroom.”

“Nice hotel, small rooms and small bed but I already knew this (it says on their website/booking). You don’t pay much, for a great location! Rooms are very clean, and modern. Only the breakfast is nothing special, every day the same. But then again, the breakfast is 12 pounds so also cheap. Also the girls at the reception/breakfast are great! Very nice and helpful. Overal, great hotel on an even better location!”

“I received the essentials box today and when I tell you the quality of these clothes are incomparable to any other clothing brand I’ve ever worn. I think I’m so used to fast fashion brands so having the chance to try this essentials set just goes to show you can’t get quality like it through cheaper brands. I would highly recommend this box to other pregnant women - you can dress them up or dress them down. Absolutely will live in these clothes for the remainder of my pregnancy and beyond! “Exactly what I needed at the right price. Really helpful staff who went the extra mile when I made a mistake - got me sorted and had a good sleep before my flight from heathrow in the morning. Good clean rooms with relatively modern bathrooms and plenty of space. The stairs would make it difficult for anyone who has mobility issues, but they were very helpful and friendly so maybe there's some accomodation that can be made around lower-floor rooms The only downside was that it hasn't been updated in a while, it could do with a lick of paint and (e.g.) repair to the towel rail in the loo in my room to just smarten it up. However at this price point it was well above expectations. Breakfast was a take-away affair which was handy as I was rushing out early”

Room was clean, I thought I would share my bathroom, but actually had my own outside the room a floor below, which was fine. “I have been staying in this hotel for 1 or 2 nights a week, most weeks, for over a year now, for work reasons. If you want a bed for the night, a shower, a toilet and not much else - this is the place for you. Personally I’d rather spend the other £50-70 on dinner/drinks than stay at what would still be a basic travelodge etc. at twice the price. Jay on reception is a great guy and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible at what is, at the end of the day, a very basic, low budget hotel. Location is absolutely fantastic with a very short walk to Paddington station. Understand what you are booking - this isn’t the Ritz, but it’s fine by me.”
