“Been to many Turkish places in London but this one by far had the best meat quality and the way it’s cooked is just unbelievable! Definitely 5 stars. Only thing which can be better is the size of the sauce dressings as it’s only one spoon full and maybe dates to break your fast would be recommended. Will be coming back to try the other dishes!”

“I love Umut 2000. I love the food. I love the staff. It seems if you purchase approximately 300 chicken Shish wraps across a 5-year period then you are rewarded with a framed picture on the wall. I’m not sure what they do with the humus but it’s topped with a mad butter sauce of deliciousness. I feel like someone said it was like a burnt butter and pomegranate molasses mix or something like that but I might have made that up completely. Either way I feel it sort of describes well. Not sure if it only come with the meat platter or every meal. The ribs in the meat platter are juicy lil boi’s. Yes pleeeeeasee me likey. If you are taking away then get a chicken Shish wrap. And don’t even think about not getting size large. Chicken, yes. Onion salad, yes. Soft bread, yes. Tip tip: order an additional side salad for extra fresh health gains.”

“I cannot find the words to say how amazing our meal was at Dem on Thursday night. The starters, dips and bread were delicious. The main was incredible. I had Ali Nazik - photo attached, which was so delicious and then we topped it all off with Turkish tea and baklava. The staff were so welcoming, attentive and polite. “Have been eating from here since they opened nearly 7 years ago, maybe more.. we love managal BBQ Turkish food and have tried most places in and around London, and always feel disappointed as none of them.close to the quality and value for money!... truly the best for quality and service, not the best of locations but you can park in the Liddle car park just behind, make sure you register or pay for parking in store... highly recommended.”

“My partner and 1 went here for the 1st time today. We had chicken shish, salad, rice , lamb kebab, plus calamari . Really nice, well cooked and a very good price too. “We visited on 11/2/23 Saturday late lunch 14:20 ish. There was a very warm welcome and a choice of seating for us and plenty more. The volume of customers was just right not too many and not empty despite the lateness of the time. I chose the Organic fillet of Salmon. Organic Salmon fillet pan fried in unsalted butter with crushed fresh herbs and white wine (optional), topped with roasted almond flakes served with sautéed spinach and roasted sweet potatoes. I didn’t recognise the sweet potatoes because they were white tasted just as good. It all tasted just as expected and I loved the sauce although I would have liked a little more. The salad had a lot of dressing so I would ask for no dressing next time. As we didn’t order a starter, we were offered some olives to keep us going as all the food is freshly cooked. My husband chose Adana Shoulder of lamb minced, blended with spices and herbs, char-grilled and served on lavash bread with bulgur, salad and sliced red onions. This was tasty but very spicy so he asked for a yogurt dip which made all the difference. (I don’t know it’s proper name). He also ordered chips which arrived (thermally) very hot. My only comment is that the plates could’ve been warm to keep the food warmer for longer. We don’t eat very quickly. The food came in good time. We didn’t have pudding as it was already a late lunch. A lovely complimentary square of sponge, soaked in something delicious like honey, arrived while we were waiting to pay. We had a lovely conversation with the waitress who was from Ukraine, and had been in the country several years. The menu is very extensive and each dish has a picture which is always helpful with such innovative looking food.”
