I'd never been to Trevor Sorbie before but used them for the first time to get my hair highlighted and don't think I'll ever be using anybody else now to do the job! They came up on my searches as the best in Richmond and that's exactly what service I got, 5*. From the moment you walk in, every staff member has the loveliest smile and welcomes you. Really lovely friendly team who make you feel very comfortable. My stylist was just an absolute perfectionist, my goodness! He listened to exactly what I wanted and took such care and attention. At the consultation she took time to make sure she fully understood what I was looking for and was careful to manage my expectations, clearly explaining the challenges of achieving the outcome I was hoping for. She also explained her method of working and the approximate time I would take to complete. On the day of the appointment she was extremely thorough and didn’t rush the process at all, her primary concern was getting the closest result to what I was looking for whilst maintaining the quality and health of my hair. I’m absolutely delighted with the colour and the overall appearance, the highlights are finely done (no big chunks of colour!) and she perfectly placed them around my face as I wear my hair up a lot. As well as a being an excellent colourist Helen is such a gorgeous woman to spend a few hours chatting with, she kept me supplied with peppermint tea and gave me such a relaxing head massage! Salvatore has a great knowledge on color application and he is a great hair stylist, he always recommend the most suitable hair cut but he is also open to satisfy your wish :) Yesterday I showed him a picture of a color that I like and I was able to replicate the same color on my hairs. Didn't know what I want exactly as I messed up my hair with uneven cuts, I only told him to keep it as long as possible. Stan seem to have understood what I wanted. He fixed my hair whilst making sure it's not too short. Im very happy with his service. I had balayage done by him 2 years ago and people have been asking where I had it done as they liked it. “Been getting dead (bad - for those who don't get it) trims? Yeah, that's cause you haven't been coming to Ismail's. Na, all jokes aside, best barbershop in the borough of Kingston . Super friendly and welcoming staff. All the barbers know what they're doing and make sure they understand what kinda trim you want. Clean and calm environment. Prices are also very reasonable, have paid more for less elsewhere. Make sure you come early, as there can be a little wait on busier days, justified for the outcome though. Cannot recommend any more - Cheat on your barber, come to Ismail's!”
