“I am truly in love with my hair. It has never looked so good! Never have I had a slick press that lasted before but its as perfect as when I left the salon. I was also initially apprehensive about having a trim but I needn't worry, my hair was trimmed beautifully. Had so many compliments already. Fantastic stylist and team. My hair and experience was so good I booked my next appointment there and then. And now my daughter is wanting her hair done too. Absolutely blow away with how my hair looks! The staff are lovely and always serve with a smile! A great selection of hot and cold drinks/food. Uber Eats delivery is also very speedy too. “Really impressed with this place. I've ordered from them 3 or 4 times now and the food has always been really good. The BBQ Mixed grill is great value for money and you get loads of meat for your money! Delivery is quick and they always include loads of sauces and dips, salad, etc.”

“Interesting polarisation of past reviews but I have to take as I find. I was only looking for advice and was upfront about the reason when I popped by. The shop manager was extremely helpful and spent a good 20-25 minutes taking me through all the complications of raw dog food. As a new owner I had some pretty dumb questions but I didnt get the sense at anytime that I had outstayed my welcome. The Owner clearly had a depth of experience (with dogs at least) and was happy to guide me. I would be surprised if you get that level of service in Pets at Home etc but it is a relatively small shop, heavily stocked so if room to push your shopping trolley is a priority, its possibly not the shop for you?”

“Steph @ Bark and Bubbles is simply the best. Ruby always comes home looking adorable, which can be a challenge, as she is a cockerpoo who loves running through the woods gathering all sorts of nature in her coat. Would give 6 stars if they were available”

“Visiting the therapy and life centre is always a calming and comfortable experience and has done me the world of good . I suffer with very tight shoulders and aches and pains from poor posture , which the therapists have always improved , eased and helped me with. Their knowledge and expertise is second to none. “Neil and the boys are very welcoming, friendly and will chat to anyone about anything. Football often on in the background too. And besides this, they do the best cuts in the area (and I've tried a few). £12 for men's cut but make sure you take cash with you as they don't take card and the card machine at the garage over the road is often broken.”

“A lovely independent cafe with good coffee and food, and free WiFi. I just spent nearly 5 hours hanging out here while my car was being serviced/MoT'd across the road. This is something I have done on two previous occasions over the last 3 years. Each time I have enjoyed the food, drink, service and atmosphere here. On this occasion I had two perfectly poached eggs and two very tasty sausages on toast with good, strong, tasty coffee for my breakfast. I was able to hang out, having the occasional drink, working on my laptop with their fast, and free, wi-fi. I saw plenty of places to plug in and recharge if needed too. I ended up having lunch here as well, soup of the day, which was spicy lentil, absolutely delicious, and perfect for a cold, wet, winter's day. The fact that this lovely independent cafe is here, will be a key factor in choosing the next place I go for work on the car, and although I don't live especially close I will definitely pop in if in the area.”

“Been getting my nails done at this nail bar for last 6 years. I’m in love with this place cuz as you’d find most of the nail bars , their staff not being friendly or place not being hygienic and dirty where as this place looks amazingly nice, clean and spacious. The staff is very polite and makes sure you are happy with the service you get. Once I broke one of my acrylic nail and went back to them to get it redone free of charge where as in the past I went to my previous nail place they had charged me £3 to get it done. so I’d highly recommend them to anyone!”

“My eternity ring broke when I smacked it against the wall in the swimming pool. The ring was given to me when my son was born 22 years ago. I have 4 rings representing the past (Mother's wedding ring), the link to the present (engagement ring), present (wedding ring) and future (eternity ring). Without my eternity ring I felt like I had lost the future, so to speak! Woods had said it couldn't be repaired and quoted an extortionate amount for remaking it. I was so upset when I thought I might not be able to afford to repair it. Then Vicki at Purnell's came to the rescue and I now have it back looking stronger, brighter and shinier than ever before - and at a fifth of the price quoted by Woods!
