We really appreciated how early the cars arrived, how smart they looked, how helpful and polite the drivers were, and just generally how smooth and straightforward the whole experience was on an incredibly emotional day! “Under new ownership the last few weeks, and now the food is fresh and really high quality, the batter has a lovely crunch and the cod really light and fresh. Cash only at the mo, but the owner said once it gets busy he will start accepting card. Very friendly owner. Let's hope the standard stays as high as it is at the moment. Will be back.”

“Went in late Dec for a meal with my wife. The ambience is quite in your face so if you like a quiet restaurant, maybe here is not for you but they play nice music and it's not so loud you can't talk. Food portions are huge, which we appreciated! Ordered the shared platter for two with a lovely bottle of Greek wine. Waiters were pleasant enough. It's not fancy but it is honest, solid food (and a ton of it), with a robust party atmosphere! It's not cheap but it's also not expensive either. I'd go back.”

“Great place to look for furniture. We were seen and assisted by a lovely lady called Helen, she helped us with measurements, which sofa would fit through the door and down our hallway. If it wasn't for all her support and knowledge we wouldn't of ordered our sofa. Thank you”

“I went here a couple of days ago and took the risk after all the bad reviews(only 1 time risk). But now maybe it has changed owners and it's better now? As it looked like only 1 chinese guy was working there who spoke perfect English and I didn't see anyone else in sight. But anyways what i ordered was delicious which was roast duck with bbq sauce on egg fried rice.”

“Steven & Jo at O Vesu Van provided the pizzas for the evening meal at my wedding, and so many of my guests proclaimed them to be the best pizzas they’ve ever tasted! So so amazing. They were also prompt with replying to emails, on time on the day and couldn’t have worked harder to pump out the pizzas. Couldn’t fault them!”

If you're looking for a professional, but reasonably priced hair cut, matched with a relaxed and friendly environment then this is the place to be going. He would listen to our ideas, help find solutions or suggest improvements and have the flexibility to alter plans throughout the process. Steve and Dan fitted the kitchen and take great pride in their work. Any slight issues were addressed and their work is of a very high standard. Always good natured and meticulous with the fit. All communication was dealt with quickly and efficiently and Max would clearly explain our options and come up with ideas to fit our budget. What could have been a stressful experience, was in the end, smooth and rewarding. The whole process has ensured that we have ended up with the kitchen we hoped/dreamed of and we would not hesitate to recommend BCK.”

“Been using this Barbers for around 4 years now, always friendly and good service. Better Covid precautions than most, it's clear they have really thought about how to protect their customers which is nice. They even did what's apparently called an under cut hair cut for my daughter today which was a great help as we were struggling to find somewhere to tidy it up again for her. Can't wait for hot towel shaves to come back but otherwise it's service as normal. Fair prices and loyalty scheme available too! Thanks for the great service as always!”

“Popped in last Friday to get some help with my conch piercing (done elsewhere a long time ago) as the ball was stuck fast and my attempts to undo it had failed and started to hurt. Alex was really friendly and helpful, got it out without pain and put in a new piece I had. He did this all for free and gave me some advice on another piercing I want. Shall be heading back soon to get this done. Thank you so much for your help!”

“Had an amazing family meal at Cacio e Pepe early Saturday evening on 31/07/21. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The food could not be faulted. In fact, the only fault I could possibly find would be that the starter portions are FAR too generous. We will certainly be sharing starters on our next visit. Very varied menu and everything we had was cooked spot on. Cannot comment on the deserts as we were far too full to even look at the desert menu. All in all a fantastic and authentic Italian restaurant to have on your doorstep.”

I literally went in there by accident to try something new and I loved the food so much I haven’t stopped going back. I’ve eaten at this place for a good few years now. I’m really surprised it’s not full to capacity every single day. It’s a small family owned Italian with delicious food and the service is 10/10.”
