Kings road barbers ,171 b kings road Kingston Upon Thames kt2 5jG
“Tony the owner has been my barber for 10+years minimum. An outstandingly established barber indeed he is an artist with scissors in hand and will pay close attention to detail that you may not even notice. Once he gets to see you a few times he will master your unique hair and particular style needs. I would go further and say finding the right barber for you goes even beyond getting a hair cut. It's the relationship that matters as well, it's true that being in the chair means being in the care of. And Tony has a special ability notice every single customer and connect with you no matter the walk of life you come from. He is approachable and makes you feel very welcome and at ease to be speak your mind and communicate what you require. If thats not enough heres more: he has another level to his skill which makes him indispensable as a barber: If you have an extra special event or function make him aware and just notice a subtle next level magic touch. Highly Recommend no hesitation”
Mr Mullan's General Store - Kingston upon Thames
“After an amazing haircut by John recently in his Kingston shop, I thought I'd pop into his soho venture to pick up some of his grooming products for my boyfriends birthday and it did not disappoint!! This shop is a fab wee find in soho, would definitely recommend taking a jaunt round if you're looking for a unique wee gift or a treat for yourself!”
Noura Lebanese Restaurant, Kingston
“This was our first visit as we were just visiting the area for a few days. It was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”
Kingston Barbers
“Went only for a hot towel shave. Was painstakingly meticulous - went above and beyond with nose & eyebrows done too before I’d left. Never too old I guess…A great glow up! Good value too.”
Tabbouleh Kingston
“I ordered without reading the menu properly and was expecting a falafel wrap but what came was this delicious flavourful falafel box with really nice balance of flavours. Tasted really good and also felt like I was being healthy!”
L’assaggino Kingston
“My husband and I are so pleased to see L'Assaggino opened in Kingston after our lovely experience at the Richmond restaurant. The staff at lunchtime today were very pleasant and helpful, the menu was varied & interesting and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced considering the very high quality of it; the wine we chose was so nice we wanted to buy some to bring home. We look forward to returning to what could well be our new favourite local. Well done to the whole team there, we wish you all continued success.”
Stein's Kingston
“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”
Best Biltong Kingston
“Just wanted to do a shout out to thank you for your excellent service and amazing products. The braai packs are such great value and your biltong and dröe wors are like a little kiss from home. Keep up the good work, you guys rock!”
Thai On Thames
“Thai on Thames is such a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the staff are so lovely. Our favourites are the Pad Thai, massaman curry, fried cod in curry sauce and the calamari! Definitely try this place if you are in the area”
The Queen's Head, Kingston
“Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! Clean plates all around. What more can you ask for?”
The Savanna Kingston
“The Savanna Kingston is our favourite little shop when ever we feel a little homesick. The staff now are extremely helpful, friendly and very supportive...Thank u”

“This is a lovely pub with a friendly and helpful landlord! It's near both bus and train station, in Kingston! Had a great pint of Irish real ale! We also had a really good meal, a mixed grill, which was also a good price and filled us up, we will b going back!!”

O'Neill's Kingston Upon Thames
“You sort of know what you're going to get with an O'Neill's, which is a good thing. I was very impressed here, the security was efficient and friendly. Although it was busy, there was a good atmosphere and the service was very quick. The fight was being shown on various screens around the pub, and although that's not my thing, the rest of the atmosphere was good. One of the better branches in the chain.”
Busaba Kingston Riverside
“Came here on a Saturday evening, it was super busy but they had us sat down speedily. The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. I would 100% recommend the calamari, up there with the best I’ve had! The jungle curry is supposedly spicy but it was not spicy at all, and if you’re Bengali, it tastes like a traditional Bengali chicken curry with less spice!”
Fireaway Pizza Kingston
“The pizza was great quality, but the wing’s especially were amazing! Due to delayed delivery, they added an extra drink which we really appreciated. They were very friendly and patient on the phone too :)”
Moss Bros Kingston
“Absolutely stunning store with professional staff who are experts on their knowledge of suits. Had to purchase everything from shoes, a suit & belt to shirt & a tie. Daniel was patience, professional with no issues from my lack of knowledge being too tiresome for him to help. Will definitely come here again & see Daniel when I’m in need of another suit, highly recommend!”
Princess Alice Hospice - Kingston (Furniture and home)
“I went here while on a vinyl-buying binge – they have a huge selection of records of all genres, priced at 50p each, which I capitalised on. I couldn't help but notice the enormous amount of home furnishings they stock, so this is definitely the place to be if you're in the market for high quality secondhand furniture.”
Barberhood richmond Road
“Great haircuts and really friendly staff. Definitely would reccomend.”
Eleana’s Bistro
“I’ve been lucky enough to go to Eleana’s a few times now - and every time has been outstanding. Delicious dinners, beautiful brunches, cracking cocktails. Slow-cooked lamb; dripping with flavour. Perfectly poached eggs; oozing with yolk. Fabulous French Toast; exploding with flavour and texture. I highly recommend this restaurant for so many reasons. The decor is subtle and classy. The owners kind and attentive. The food tasty and from the heart. Give it a go if you’re in the area; you won’t be disappointed.”
Bindaas - The Indian Kitchen.
“Fantastic food and great service. Been a couple of times now and I really rate the food here - it is quite high end for a local Indian restaurant. My only issue is the atmosphere is a bit too sterile - lighting is too bright and the decor is nice but a bit cold. 5 stars for food and service though. Will be back!”
