PIANO WEEK International Festival & Summer School
● Open“Piano Week in December 2020 was a wonderful experience. I am a piano/music novice with just over a year experience and as an adult learner, I wanted an experience with first rate teachers in a comfortable environment to gauge where I was and how to move forward. Piano Week exceeded every expectation. I was able to work on a variety of pieces and accomplished several "firsts" - performing in front of others (virtually), composing, improvisation, while also getting wonderful coaching on how to polish a piece, how to start a piece, technical exercises, organizing practice time, etc. I walked away inspired by the quality of the teachers and grateful they were able to connect with a novice player, pick me up where I was and give me some tools to move forward! Wonderful chance to get focused exposure to world class musicians and teachers. I took the class remotely from the comfort of home but the logistics and attention to detail were very professional! Wonderful professional staff, great participants - highly recommended!”

Flamenco Academy
● Closed“If you want to learn the perfect art of flamenco then Ollie is the perfect teacher. He's a superb dancer and exceptionally skilled in his craft. He has a true passion for flamenco and this is reflected in class. As a teacher he’s incredibly inspiring and encouraging and I love his attention to detail (he hears and sees everything!) Ollie cares about teaching correct technique, posture, rhythm and he most definitely has the ability to get the best from his students. His classes are challenging and great fun. You’ll be fully immersed in flamenco, with lovely people, and come away feeling energised and looking forward to the next class! Absolutely recommend The Flamenco Academy.”

Tango Light
● Open3 Godfrey Place, London E2 7NT, United Kingdom“Tango Light Temple is one of my favourite milongas, and, I would even put it as my 'tango home'! The venue has good vibes, excellent ambience and atmosphere, with a high dome that creates wonderful acoustics that complement the fantastic sound system. The organisers are always welcoming and always looking to improve. There are always a good mix of dancers, some regulars as well as visitors from outside London and abroad. There's always a buzz around the room. The seating arrangement is very good for the Mirada and cabaceo. There's a mini bar that serves drinks and delicious empanadas. All the above elements creates the feeling that you are in a Buenos Aires milonga.”

Mill End Community Centre
● Closed“Hired Mill End CC for my Son’s 6th Birthday Party. Was able to hire both the Main Hall & the Large Garden which was ideal for a kids birthday party in Summer. Sylwia was a delight to deal with, met us to show us around, and answered any queries we had promptly. Plenty of tables / chairs and space to adequately cater for any number of guests from about 1-30. Use of kitchen to prepare food also very helpful, and I thought the cost of it all was very fair.”

Shobha's Rasoi
● Closed“This Saturday, we had been to Shobha,s Rasoi. One thing to keep in mind there there is no parking for Shobha Rasoi and its on the Harrow High Stree but you can park your car in spencer lane which has free parking but spaces are limited. We were not aware of so we parked our car in Locket lane which is charged parking but after 4 pm its free as it was mentioned. We reached there after 7 pm so it was not an issue parking over there. Then we went to Shobha Rasoi. When we entered gate, there was an arrangement for hand sanitizer and once you confirm your booking, you would be accompanied by staff to the relevant place. Although not big but ambience was amazing. All staffs were very nice. We had placed an order for starter and the service was really very quick. We ordered our main courses in anticipation that probably it would take time but before we could finish our starter we got our main courses. Foods my god , it was super delicious. We had got this type of delicious foods after very long time. The taste was like we used to have in India in restaurants. Its really worth visiting this restaurant if you have never been over there.”

Tasty Jerk
● Closed88 Whitehorse Lane, London SE25 6RQ, United Kingdom“This was well worth the trek to get here: St Pancras to Tulse Hill, 468 bus to Clifton Road. Got the jerk pork meal with plantain and coleslaw and pepper sauce. Pork was lovingly tender with crystalline skin and a deep smoke flavour. The plantain was banging, caramelized and just a bit sweet. Pepper sauce was delicious but it got me struggling. I recommend getting a little bit of it as it goes a long way. Service was good.”
-

Emilia's Crafted Pasta (Aldgate)
● Closed“Friendly, tasty and atmospheric, it was a lovely place to go for a meal on a recent trip to London. The menu is simplistic, but the quality of the food is brilliant! It’s lovely to be able to watch your food being made, and to smell the fresh cheese and pasta. Also, Italian soft drinks served with a pasta straw definitely add to the experience! The deserts are great too! All round a great time, and worth a visit”
