Pillars Restaurant
“Always a warm welcome, amazing food experience, we enjoyed the Christmas menu, the cocktail. Fabulously decorated to”
Galata Pera
“A top-quality restaurant offering a delicious menu with excellent service. The food was well cooked and nicely presented. Once the meals were served we were left alone to enjoy the flavours. It is located next to the river which encourages a relaxed experience. Good vegetarian options as well.”
Wukong
“Friendly staff, food was tasty, generous portions and the shop looks clean. I will be exploring the menu further on the future.”
El Vaquero Mill Hill
“The best salad bar, Pizza Hut salad got nothing ! Them lot got some delicious stuff! Even got sweet potatoes and pasta and rice for the kids. They come to your table with all types of meat and chicken and we said yes to everything they got lol wallah I feel like I’ve tasted things if I saw on the menu I would never buy but this experience of them bringing the meat to you and cutting it. It was sooo good! I always look at medium rare meat and be like ewwww! But when I tasted it, wow it’s so so good!”
Eli’s Restaurant - South Kensington
“Gorgeous small local restaurant, delicious hearty food and friendly and professional staff (I think they were a family). Thank you for accommodating us (family of 3 including a 2 yo) on a Saturday night and despite not having booked a table in advance! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with you. My top fave dish was the chicken liver with freshly baked pita bread. Wine choices were also fab.”
Restaurant Noroc
“We loved this restaurant. Amazing food, delicious and authentic. Friendly staff, only one spoke English but she spoke very well. We were not made to feel like we didn't belong and we enjoyed every thing we ate.”
The Three Horseshoes
“A wonderful place to eat with lots of space and great vegetarian options. All the staff were so warm and friendly, we stayed all afternoon. Can't wait to return.”
Alec's Restaurant
“You cannot beat the atmosphere and the food here. From start to finish you will feel special. The food is exquisite and the drinks the same. The restaurant is so nice! Turn up early so you can enjoy the champagne bar!!”
Chequers Inn
“Ordered a 3 course Sunday lunch which I collected. Starters was a prawn cocktail with focaccia and butter followed by roast beef, roast turkey, massive yorkshire pudding, 5 separate veggies, including honeyed parsnips and lashings of gravy. Followed by lemon meringue and ice cream, which we ate a couple of hours later. My wife said it was the best roast she had ever had, and I had to agree. Well done the Chequers Inn at Heaverham”
Dishoom King's Cross
“Most fabulous experience ever!! My mom has limited mobility & they were extremely kind & accommodating for her. Even without that, we’d give it 5 stars! The food was incredible- such deep, rich flavors complemented with the brightness of citrus & herbs. Everything was delicious but the gunpowder potatoes & okra fries are not to be missed!!”
Little Sardegna
“On my most recent visit, I went with a friend and we had a lovely time. It was a Thursday night and even though we were there quite early (6.45pm), it was really quiet which surprised me. However, I’d still recommend to book as it’s been much busier when I’ve been before. We didn’t have any starters (my friend’s decision - I thought the burrata sounded great!). My main was the crab from the specials board, which was the perfect size and definitely not stingy with the crab. Really tasty. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was creamy and light and I loved the flecks of crumbled amaretti biscuits on top, and the lemon sorbet. It’s hard to know what to say about lemon sorbet as it’s rare it’s not good. This was good. Prices were fair - my crab was about £16/17 and desserts were £6/7 Great for a cosy catch up, or date night.”
Murano
“It was Italian but not a pasta place. We wanted to try a Michelin rated place. Everything was fancy. We enjoyed the fish dishes. Service was impressive. It's not for children. Oh my the desserts were fancy. I enjoyed the mushroom risotto.”
Michael Nadra Brasserie & Takeaway Primrose Hill
“Absolutely blown away by this place. From the moment of booking with friendly accommodating service to the COVID-safe experience and amazing food and selection of wines and cocktails. We went for the mixed olives, soft-shell crab tempura, burger and chunky fries and the Sunday roast (sirloin beef) - all cooked to perfection. The stick toffee pudding was to die for. Highly highly recommended.”
Bowling Bird
“Genuinely fantastic. Amazing to find such a quaint place so central. Best steak I have had in a long time, great, personable service and amazing wine. Desert also awesome! Thank you!”
The Jolly Gardeners
“While staying in London my husband and I came in twice (we were walking distance). The food was delicious and the service was super friendly both evenings. They have vegetarian options and they also cater to other dietary needs. Great drinks and vibe.”
The French Tarte
“Went once for their afternoon tea and another time for brunch. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, and the staff are warm and friendly even with how busy it is. If you’re going for brunch I would recommend getting there before 11 to beat the rush as it does get very crowded in there on the weekends.”
Three Horseshoes
“Always enjoy our meal here! Lovely atmosphere and great food.”
The Roebuck
“Went in for one drink with my boyfriend and his dad, and I was charmed by the interior. Sooo much history in every single piece, small or big. I've had the pleasure of actually meeting the owner that told me every object is part of his 50 years personal collection.”
The Plough Inn, Norwood Green
“What lovely little find me and my girlfriend had a few drinks. Proper old school feel of a pub if we hadn't eaten before we would have tried some food. As the food that came out for other customers looked really nice. But the nice touch was the open fires which made it feel really like Christmas!! We will definitely be going back in the near future.”
The Crown Horsell
“Excellent pub with helpful and friendly staff, the drinks served will fix any thirst”
Park Tavern Pub
“One of the few remaining “proper pubs” in the area and it’s fantastic - warm welcome from the bar staff, fantastic ales, friendly locals - so glad to have found the Park Tavern!”
The Griffin, Brentford
“Historic football pub, home to Brentford FC fans. Very good quality food and beer. Friendly customers and staff.”
Ye Olde Monken Holt
“Lovely local pub with live music on a Sunday evening. It's a great place to sit enjoying a drink.”
Malt and Hops
“So nice to see a pub opening up instead of closing down. The staff were super friendly and nice. The menu looked good and reasonable although we didn't try anything, they do a veggie Wellington Sunday thing so will definitely br going back to check it out”
The Ladbroke Arms
“Excellent pub in Holland Park. Ambience is superb in a beautiful, picturesque setting full of flowers in the garden and cozy inside. Food was delicious - while on the pricier side, as expected for Holland Park, dishes were made with fresh ingredients and full of flavour. Do not miss the truffle mac and cheese and the cabbage! Reservations accepted inside but terrace is walk-in only. One point for improvement would be to extend their non-alcoholic beer range which currently is Heineken only, so not great, but hopefully over time. Staff were super friendly and attentive too, highly recommend.”
The Grenadier
“Out of the way gem of a bar that's tucked away in a seemingly residential corner of London. Incredibly friendly staff! Great selection of beer and cider. Great bar eats! Highly recommend trying the Scotch eggs! Be sure to look up while you're there. The ceiling is also covered in dollar bills with little messages written on them.”
Old Town Tavern
“Neat little pub. The service was great and the food was tasty. I didn't expect mexican food, but it was quite good.”
Elm Tree beer garden
“Excellent place to spend a Friday or Saturday night.”
The Rose & Crown
“Lovely little pub in Kentish Town. Loads of free comedy shows throughout the week downstairs which is the reason for my visit. Staff behind the bar are very friendly and the prices for drinks are reasonable. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outside drinking area due to the season but it looks nice.”
