“Stopped by the Stafford for a drink and lunch with my wife and father and law to repeat a tradition passed down from my dad who has been going to the Stafford for many years. We were really impressed by the service and staff and how well they accommodated our small sleeping baby in a stroller. Great experience, great service - highly recommend the restaurant and American Bar.”

“Wonderful space arranged over three floors. It is open to the public and free to visit. The main street level area has a coffee bar and a mix of exhibits and products for sale. The first floor is a restaurant and bar. And the basement level is an exhibition space and micro library. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

“We stayed here as our mini-moon for a weekend. The staff were very attentive, Kamel in particular was very kind and welcoming. The food were delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Breakfast had a lot to offer and choices and again, very quick and lovely service and food. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The extra attention to detail and dedicated card did not go unnoticed. Overall, a very pleasant stay to celebrate our wedding!”

“Wonderful experience here. The staff was professional and accommodating. The location is convenient. Restaurants and shuls all on the same block. Busses stop in front of the hotel for quick transportation to anywhere. If you stay for Shabbat and purchase their hospitality package, this is what your table looks like. They also provide a hotplate which is super hot (so watch out you don't burn your food). Would stay here again and again. Air conditioning was frigid and welcome after a hot day in the tube.”

“Delicious food, big portions and some unique kind of plates in here although it’s might sound like the typical Arabic kind of dishes but the flavors are well well executed in a unique way only Villa Mamas can provide you with. Loved the outdoor seating in here as inside it felt quite hot, staff were helpful yet can do slightly more smiling :) prices were above average but I found it reasonable for the above average portion size too”

“Experience great, trying a burger, sure it will be fine. Very busy with lots of happy people. A great place. I am a bit confused as the boss says it's a backpacker hostel. Ok but £164 a night, guess I am out of touch. No criticism (in any bad way) but did not realize it was that costly for people to get a room for the night. All done, this is an excellent place, great fun and friendly. Take a bow!!!”

“I’ve walked past this pub for many years but had never visited until today. To be honest its name and proximity to St Paul’s Cathedral put me off, as I wrongly assumed that it was a tourist place. Really friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. A much bigger space downstairs although closed on a quiet January afternoon. Loved the huge wooden balustrades that dominate the street level bar area. A Greene King pub but I was happy to find Timothy Taylor Landlord on draught. Even a garden out back - a rarity in The City of London. A hidden gem in plain sight!”

“My daughter currently attends but has been very unwell with a long term condition. The way the staff have consistently "gone the extra mile" for her and us shows a level of care that is exceptional. As a parent that is the most important thing and I would happily recommend the school to anyone considering sending their daughter there.”

However, right from my very consultation with Sonia I felt at ease and knew I was in safe hands. Sonia provided a free consultation where she really listened to my worries and what I’d like to achieve. She then provided a great explanation about how our skin works and what it needs. Lastly, she recommended the products that would tackle each of my concerns - Sonia took the time to explain the science behind these products and to address the questions I had. Sonia is so approachable and knowledgeable! You need someone like her to make you feel confident and comfortable in embarking on a skin transformation journey !”

“Beautiful location . Useful off street parking in front of house. Within reasonable walking distance from vibrant high street and Surbiton station. Large house with tastefull interior decor. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely large rear garden, with view from breakfast room. Excellent breakfast buffet with thoughtful variety of healthy eating options. Best full English breakfast we've ever had and well presented. Our hosts were quiet, friendly and helpful. A delightful stay.”

“I had a great experience getting my ear pierced by Lauren this afternoon. She was incredibly knowledgable and you can tell that she really cares about her work, (which is reassuring!) The whole vibe of the place is clean, professional friendly and really welcoming. Not your typical tattoo parlour! Will definitely be back there and would highly recommend.”

I would highly recommended the Acharuli Khachapuri and Chefs special, both were absolutely delicious and I would definitely have them again. The restaurant itself is both casual and cosy with simple, clean decor that felt warm and welcoming. The layout gives each table it's own personal space and is lovely for casual lunch or dinner with friends and loved ones. Table service was outstanding, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Excellent recommendations with the option to taste the wine as well. Both times I had a wonderful, relaxing evening. Would highly recommend.”

“I came staying here for a week for a one week workshop in Pinewood Studio, that's 2 years ago now which this place is still on my mind. I wanna say, Bridgettine Convent is always a place to remember. The world's changing and not the same now. But the memory of this place like bring me home. It is a solitude but warm and darling place, the cozy and comfortable room with view of the beautiful garden, the bright and clean elegant bathroom, warm and home feel breakfast and meal, the sisters are helpful and kind, both garden at the front and at the back is gorgeously beautiful....with all these cost you just £40/night in monetary value. If I visit Pinewood, I would come back and stay again.”

“I found this amazing Thai restaurant on Google during my short stay in London. My go-to is green curry with chicken, and most places just can’t seem to get it right. Thai O’CHA hit the mark. They made it Thai hot, just the way I like it, and I was more than satisfied. The owner personally chatted with me and treated me with hospitality I have never experienced before. I even received some Papad and Thai desert on the house! As someone out at dinner on my own, I felt like I was at home. Thank you, Sultana, for such a lovely welcome.”
