Every dish I tried was an absolute delight, bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. From the appetizers to the entrees and desserts, everything was prepared to perfection. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. It's clear that the chef and staff take pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience. “As a Palestinian, I was very happy to see a place like Akub open in London. This quaint & cozy space serves innovative twists on traditional Palestinian cooking. Dishes like the Short Rib Fatteh, Bukjet Mousakhan & Shish Barak with Beetroot are delicious & pleasantly light. The dessert, especially the dead sea salt chocolate cake, is out of this world! Akub also serves Palestinian arak, wine & beer, so you get to enjoy a Taybeh or 2 with your meal ;) The decor is on point too - tasteful cultural symbols minus the clichés (no flags or rifles, though of course the spirit is that of Free Palestine).”
