Kiln Theatre
“Lovely small theatre. The toilet is large enough so there won't be super long queue. The bar also has a large space so it won't be very crowded. The seat is comfortable as well. The whole area also has many restaurants so it is easy to come early and have some dinner nearby before the show.”
Finborough Theatre
“Wonderful acting, great, cozy atmosphere, sound was amazing and food options are quite large considering it is a theater and not a restaurant.”
Southwark Playhouse Borough
“A warm welcome at the door. Friendly staff and a superb play, Indecent proposal. I would love to have seen a twist where the man receives the proposal. Original songs and great actors. A fabulous night out. Such a quaint venue, so emersive.”
Battersea Arts Centre
“Absolutely amazing venue. So much history to it...we had a reception party and civil ceremony, was a great day.”
Laban Theatre
“Deservedly award-winning architecture. Dance studios around the outside, all with natural light and lots of height to move around in. Theatre in the centre that is well provided for with comfortable seats and good technical facilities. There is a cafe area for eating and drinking so you can spend as long as you like there!”
Bloomsbury Theatre and Studio
“Went to see the Demon Dentist, it was a great show. The theatre is good sized. You can't find popcorn but you can find everything else. There is a Uni Cafe with decent prices! Loved the show and would definitely go again!”
Royal Marsden Hospital - Sutton
“I have been visiting the hospital about a year ago, accompanying my husband on his appointments, the hospital staffs , Medical Professionals and volunteers all do an exceptionally good job, well done all over.”
Everyman Crystal Palace
“Love love love this cinema. The food, atmosphere and seating is on point. You can order from their extensive menu to your seat (which are perfect for couples as they practically mini couches). I built my own sundae and they did not stoosh on the toppings and my partners drink was on par with a chic Central London bar for a decent price. Would definitely go again and highly recommend it for date night. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive as well.”
ArtHouse Crouch End
“Charming venue, amazing vegan and veggie food, delicious cocktails (at a very honest prices) and lovely staff members! Great place to study and do some smart working too as music isn’t loud and the vibe is perfect!”
Catford Mews
“Really happy to have a cinema within walking distance, and the occasional special showing (cult movies etc) is a good excuse to get people from outside Catford to visit :). The recent art market was amazing. Great also to come here with a laptop in the evening, get a milkshake, and try and be productive.”
Everyman Broadgate
“Lovely cinema, comfy seats, intimate setting and a lovely oasis near my workplace to watch a good film, in this instance 'The worst person in the world' The staff are accommodating and friendly and the food and drink is a solid standard.”
Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists
“This is a great venue for smaller conferences. First class facilities and a nice quiet location considering it's central London. Very professional and friendly staff.”
Court Theatre
“We went to see the Addam's Family tonight with my son who is autistic. This is the first time he has been to see a stage production, and we were unsure if he would be interested enough to sit and watch it. The staff here went out of their way to help us, allowing our son to sit in on the sound test to gauge his response. He seemed fine, so we bought some tickets to watch from a location from which we could leave at short notice. When the music started our son was absolutely beside himself with joy. Fantastic acting and extremely talented singers. Thank you to all the lovely staff, the performers and production team for giving our son such a wonderful first experience in musical theatre.”
Orange Tree Theatre
“Amazing intimate theatre with stunning programming. Loved Tom Kempinski's "Duet for One" this afternoon and amlooking forward to Somerset Maugham's The Circle in May.”
Theatre503
“Lovely classic pub theatre with a great seating layout meaning all can see the performances. Pub downstairs has a great selection of drinks be the bar staff were great”
New Diorama Theatre
“Often come here for a morning coffee on office days. Really great cappuccino (strong! like a flat white). Small selection of delicious pastries. Friendly and welcoming staff and a very pleasant relaxing environment.”
Arcola Theatre
“First time back to the Arcola in a long while, and what a treat! OMG 'The Poltergeist' was absolutely brilliant! I've never seen a show quite like it. Hats off to Joseph Potter, you really blew my mind, so thank you! Your playing 6 different people.... the voices were amazing! New James Norton?”
Kenneth More Theatre
“Yet another wonderful Pantomime at the Kenneth More. Aladin was as good as all the others we have seen or attended in over 20 years of coming. Yes the jokes are corny but isn't that what it is supposed to be. Oh no it isn't! Oh yes it is. And believe it or not the actors never age, or do they. Well done everyone and keep up the good work. Can't wait to bring my grand children if we ever get any. Until that time arrives we will be taking our friends children to continue such corny somewhat risky entertainment. Keep up the great work all. See you next year.”
Grange Park Opera
“An stunningly beautiful place. The building and grounds were outstanding made all the better because of the lovely weather currently. I saw the world premiere of Pushkin opera which was extremely good with very strong voices and impressive cast.”
Graeae Theatre Company
“I made a delivery there today and was a pleasure was greeted with a smile a great conversation and very much made to feel welcome also a short tour amazing art work they do a amazing job we’ll done guys”
Bridge Theatre
“My family and I just enjoyed A Christmas Carol. We were enthralled by it! The three actors, on a bare set and with the help of the lighting, a few props, three puppets and a cloaked spirit, were able to capture the entire audience and carry all of us with Scrooge in his wild flight to salvation!”
Aldwych Theatre
“Good theatre, went to see Tina Turner which was fun. The sound quality was not the greatest though, I felt the vocals were not emphasised enough, especially in key moments or when some of the classics were performed...it did not do the actors any justice. Visuals, lighting and wardrobe were all fantastic, along with the performance as a whole.”
Arts Theatre
“Great theatre (we saw "Six" there) with decent seating throughout. Staff was friendly, show was punctual, getting in and out was fairly easy. Close to the Leicester Square station (and not far from the Covent Garden one too).”
The Hope Theatre
“Amazing theatre and great shows. Tickets are a great price, love the fact the shows change every few weeks and it's always something a bit different. Above a pub so drink choice is amazing, plus the pub serves food, so can grab a quick bite before however I suggest ordering before 7pm as the staff do say you may not have enough time to enjoy your food before the show starts. Also able to take drinks upstairs in a glass! Hate plastic haha”
Gate Theatre
“Saw Medea last night at The Gate Theatre and was captivated. The production (70 minutes) is almost completely two young brothers locked in their bedroom trying to amuse themselves while their parents sort out "marriage stuff". The boys were amazing and had real presence on the stage. They fought and played to fill the time while waiting for their parents. Keir Edkins O'Brien (who played the older brother) was irritated and fond of his brother at the same time and his face was so expressive. When he told Jasper (Bobby Smallbridge) that he would always be there to look after him, because he was Jasper's big brother and that is what big brothers did, forever, you really wanted to hug him. A pair of really impressive child actors.”
The CentrE17
“Its a place where the buses either get to the end of their journey or pass through on their way to a destination. It's also where the Victoria underground station srarts.”
Theatre Royal Stratford East
“An Evening of Classic Reggae at Stratford East. Brilliant show. A must see again”
The Yard Theatre
“Great local theatre. On the doorstep of Hackney Wick Station so really easy to get to. Saw a production of 'An Unfinished Man' here, great viewing from all angles and feel like you're very close to the action even from the back. Helpful and friendly staff and food and drink on offer”
