About the Business

Welcome to Kiln Theatre, a vibrant and exciting cultural institution located in the heart of Kilburn in North-West London. As an establishment and point of interest, Kiln Theatre has a long and illustrious history, dating back more than 35 years. Originally known as the Tricycle Theatre, this multi-award-winning venue was rebranded as Kiln Theatre in 2018 as part of a major redevelopment project.
Today, Kiln Theatre is a dynamic and inclusive space that celebrates diversity and promotes excellence in the arts. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a 294-seat auditorium, a cinema, a rehearsal room, a bar and café, and a lively foyer. We host a wide variety of events and activities, bringing together audiences, artists, and communities from all walks of life.
Our programming is eclectic and innovative, spanning theatre, film, music, comedy, and spoken word. We are committed to showcasing the best and most exciting talent from around the world, and to presenting work that challenges, inspires, and entertains. We also run an extensive education and outreach programme, working with schools, young people, and community groups to create opportunities for participation and engagement.
At Kiln Theatre, we believe that the arts have the power to transform lives and to drive positive social change. We are proud to be part of the vibrant cultural landscape of London, and to contribute to the rich tapestry of stories and voices that make up our city. Whether you are a seasoned theatre-goer, a student, or a local resident, we welcome you to join us at Kiln Theatre and to share in the magic of live performance.
Reviews
"Went to see the production of handbagged and throughly enjoyed it! It required you to have some knowledge in order to appreciate but thats appropriate for such a play. The cast were incredible and really made the play. The actually building was also really nice and the whole audience loved it!"
"A lovely theatre, an excellent play and very nice staff. The theatre was clean, well presented and there were loads of interesting pictures and information on show. Leg room is quite restricted in most rows so my taller theatre buddy struggled a little in the stalls but the atmosphere and production more than made up for it! The toilets were, as one would expect in a relatively intimate theatre setting, not quite sufficient for a short interval, with a full house, but kept tidy and comfortable. It's definitely worth ordering interval drinks before the show as the main bar was under pressure during the break. It was a lovely evening in a beautiful venue and we will definitely be returning!"
"First time visit to this Theatre, a lovely vibe and excellent sound and light made the show even more enjoyable. It's a short walk from both over and underground and they have a big bar area for pre show. Advanced interval booking for drinks is a great idea."
"Lovely small theatre. The toilet is large enough so there won't be super long queue. The bar also has a large space so it won't be very crowded. The seat is comfortable as well. The whole area also has many restaurants so it is easy to come early and have some dinner nearby before the show."
"Lovely small theatre and a great place to support lesser known theatre artists. All seats provide an excellent view, absolutely loved it here. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The seats were comfortable with plenty of legroom and the show (Reasons You Shouldn’t Love Me by Amy Trigg) was absolutely fantastic. Can’t wait to return!"
