“Great choice of local food on their menu. I went for the pork belly with rice, including salad, and springs rolls as a starter/side. Sauce was tangy but not overbearing as the rice and salad helps balance the taste. Vast restaurants here, and would recommend if you’re looking to try a different cuisine!”

“Visited this restaurant on Saturday with my sister. We ordered from the lunchtime tapas menu. There was a great variety on offer. Our food was delivered very quickly, was piping hot and fresh. The host and waiters were all friendly and polite. Service was excellent. Highlights were the salt and pepper squid, pork dumplings and Phuket mussels.”

“Had a lovely time here, the staff were so kind and helpful. The price was a touch on the expensive side but I was worth it. We both got the house favourite sticky chicken and it was delicious. I would recommend getting the noodles with it instead of rice. I’d say you can’t go wrong with Giggling Squid.”

“Flavoursome!!! Delicious mouth-watering Thai food. The decor is pleasing, a little romantic but not overwhelming. A few tables have an intimate floral cage enclosure. As expected when the food is good, it's a busy restaurant, book to avoid disappointment. It's in Chelmsford City center with ample parking spaces nearby.”

“We ordered food from Siam yesterday and it was lovely, hats off to the wonderful cook. We ordered early and received our food quickly. The delivery chap was friendly, really good service. I had green curry with coconut rice and my husband had special fried rice. Highly, I say Highly! recommended.”

“Restaurant hidden away next to a asian wholesaler. Restaurant is very spacious and we did not book just walked in as plenty space available. The service from the staff is 5* very professional team. Food was amazing and came hot. Free ample car parking on site in a secure car park.”

“Can honestly say it was the best restaurant experience of my life. The food was excellent, portions so big I got to take some home too! The pricing is very reasonable. For my husband and I for 2 starters and 2 mains plus 2 beers and a cocktail came to 68 quid which is great for kosher food! We were regularly asked if we needed anything which made us feel very welcome, all the staff were attentive and efficient and we recieved a cocktail each on the house Plus my husbands second beer as they didn't have the one he wanted. In addition to all this, they gave us shisha on the house too! Brilliant brilliant service. Really really enjoyed myself and to boot the food was phenomenal! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. MY NEW FAVOURITE RESTAURANT.”

“Went there thinking they are a part of the Eat out to help out scheme where you get 50% discount, but it turns out they are not. My mistake. Nevertheless, the food was very good. Salt and pepper squid was perfect, and green curry with shrimps was just a tad bit too salty. A lot of shrimps in it, though. The staff was friendly and professional, and they were following all the Covid prevention measures.”

“We had a lovely meal here. The food was really good with a great selection. Everything was served very fast and was delicious. We had pad Thai katsu curry and nasi goreng with some pot stickers. They also have a nice beer selection with some some nice local beers. Staff were pleasant and would be happy to return.”

“My family and I have been coming here for 30 years. This place is still owned by the same family. I lived in the USA for 13 years and this take away was a must for me everytime I came home. I love the fried rice, the chow mein and the chips with curry sauce. My American friends loved this take out and no we know is ever disappointed with food or the friendly staff here.”

“The best Chinese for miles around and we are really fussy ! They went away for a little while and we were devastated! None of the other restaurants compared ! So glad they are back for all of our can’t be bothered to cook tonight moments ! The food is authentic, the chicken fried rice is delicious and not that under seasoned, pale stuff that other take always offer . I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommended to all my friends and family - the beef curry, spring rolls, rice, shredded duck, chilli beef are all spot on - not to mention the many other dishes they offer ! The service is great, polite and accommodating- what more can you ask for ! We don’t usually leave reviews but we cannot rate these guys highly enough and they genuinely deserve all the praise they get!”
