“Went in for guidance with setting up new wheel on my bike and making sure I hadn’t broken my disk brakes. The workshop team were incredibly helpful and patient - answering my questions about how to safely assemble and attach the wheel, and helping me when I get stuck putting the new tires on my wheels. Walked out of the store with my bike fully operational, and genuinely would not have been able to do it without their support. Friendly and incredibly helpful workshop team - grateful especially to Julian for his guidance on setting up the wheels and brakes safely, Lewis for his professional attitude and support, and Veronika and Martino for their elbow grease to help get the tyres on the wheels. Incredibly helpful team.”

“Excellent campsite with first rate facilities. Really friendly and welcoming receptionist greeted us on arrival and explained where everything was. Near to the Lea valley path which allows easy cycling into central London. Good transport links too but we haven't needed to use them. We used the river path to get to Stratford Olympic park, and Hampstead heath . The site offers shade too which was a real bonus during the heatwave. All facilities such as washrooms etc beautifully clean. Would highly recommend,and we will definitely be returning.”

“We stayed here for a short break and found the staff very welcoming and friendly. The showers and toilets very clean . At the moment the site is having alterations being done for next year updating the swimming pool and shop and reception. Some people live on site permanently and again all very friendly. The site is very peaceful, just what we needed . Would definitely recommend and will return .”

“Such a wonderful experience. The only thing I would say is that for a table of 2, the food came very quickly, it is served all at once which is a bit daunting for those who eat slowly. All food was exceptional though and we had the premium menu. The acts were mesmerising, we had 4 in total. The staff were attentive and willing to switch the set menus out for food preferences and allergies workout fuss. I would return”

“TLDR: An REI/MEC style Membership CO-op This is based off a December 2022 Visit. The store does require a membership account for purchase at the better prices. Generally, it makes sense to buy a membership when you go into make a purchase if you don't already have one. I believe membership's are shareable but I cannot confirm.Membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase. The store is full of anything an outdoor enthusiast may want.Outdoors activities like camping,hiking,snowshoeing,ice climbing,kayaking,fishing are all catered to from this store. If you know someone who likes the outdoors, they will already know about this store, or fall in love with it. The staff were all polite,pleasant and helpful. More importantly,they are knowledgeable and can make the correct recommendations based on conversations with members/customers. This is how a Co-Op and really every store should be.”

“This is an amazing group with a great site where I have witnessed my kids gain confidence in interacting with others and learning new skills and indepencence. Anne, the beaver leader has done a real great job in investing knowledge and confidence into my sons. They have learnt to do things such as making slings when someone breaks their arm to sleeping in a camp on their own without us the parents. Went in as little boys coming out as men. Lol. But honestly for the small fee to cover a full term, its probably one of the best outside school clubs to let your children get involved in especially with the amount of badges they can gain. Absolutely recommend it to anyone with children aged between 6 and onwards.”
