Leman Street Tavern
● Closed“This was one of the best bars that I’ve been to in a while. The vibe was amazing and I loved every second in here! One of the best parts of the experience was our experience with Vlad. He was one of the best bartenders that I’ve ever had! He was amazing and was super helpful with finding the right drink for us! Please seek him out whenever you come here!”

Greenwich Tavern
● Closed“Good place with good food. Very big dishes, but very delicious. We waited a lot for the food (40 minutes), but may be it was because of Sunday and also the Mother's Day.”

The Railway Tavern Hotel
● Open“Nice locals pub. Opens at 14.00 most of the weekdays, good prices, and fast service. Sadly the kitchen is now closed, and now another company leases the area and does just Carribean food. Also the hotel is closed, so just a bar now.”

The Railway Tavern
● Closed“Review of The Railway Tavern, Bexley Village. Me and wife went there for the first time, on a Sunday night in March 2022 - having heard they had karaoke. Arrived about 7.30 and it wasn't very busy so we got high chairs at the bar. DJ Duncan was already set up on a stage in the corner; he does a regular Sunday night session until 11pm. It's a bright, nicely laid out pub on the High Street, unsurprisingly round the corner from Bexley Rail Station and handy for buses including the 229. By 8.30 it was busy and by 9 it was HEAVING, mostly with the late 20's crowd but a fair few coffin dodgers (like us!) and one or two harmless weirdies. The hard working barmaids were run ragged. Great music and singers (mostly, but, well, it is karaoke!). Drink prices reasonable; £10 for a single Bacardi, a bottle of coke and a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord (which was excellent!). A great night out. Recommended.”

The Optimist Tavern
● Closed“The Optimist Tavern is set back from the roadside in a leafy enclave that you could easily believe is in deep countryside if you didn't know it is actually on the outskirts of London. Inside, the pub is spacious but has many cosy nooks and comfortable corners. The staff are welcoming and helpful, especially Dave, and the menu offers a wide selection of hearty pub favourites, such as fish and chips, and steak and Guinness pie, as well as curry and vegetarian and vegan options. Dishes are well presented and tasty. We particularly enjoyed the chicken, bacon and avocado salad, and we've loved our many visits.”

Singer Tavern
● Closed“Wow, what a great little find. So glad a friend of ours recommended a visit here! The Old Fashioneds were excellent and my friends really enjoyed their drinks too. It had a good atmosphere to it and I loved the top and bottom floor as well. The bartender downstairs, Allie (I hope!), was really nice and friendly and I'll definitely be back to enjoy the downstairs atmosphere too.”

The Lodge Tavern
● Closed“Kind and helpful costomer service, they were kind enough to help out of the services they provide. For me it going above and beyond sometimes to meet a costomers needs when it arises. I'll go on to say,the best fried prawns at a reasonable price. I have had.”

The Dickens Tavern
● Closed“Came to London for a weekend away and stopped by for a family meal. Food was lovely and so many varieties of drinks to choose from, the pub is well stocked. Bar area looks stunning with the decor, the place is kept really clean and tidy considering how big it is inside. Joanne the manager was a star and so polite, friendly and funny made us feel so welcomed, believe she was working with a lad called Michael who served our food (10/10 for the fish and chips and burgers) and was very helpful and an absolute pleasure. Pub also has a pool table which was very cool as we haven’t seen any in our short stay here. Will definitely be back when we visit London again we can’t wait”

-
The People's Park Tavern
● Closed“Great pub garden for a sunny day. Lively vibe, just so nice to be here. Lots of craft beer on tap and cans are available. Buffalo wings were so juicy. Burger was a bit undercooked but still tasty. Goes well with a pint of beer. They have many table at back so no need to book in advance, even on bank holiday. Love this place!”
