Kyparissia Greek Tavern
“I can't praise this place enough! Excellent Greek food, very authentic and fresh! Beautiful decor and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We needed a place like this in Watford! 5 stars from me!”
Purley Butcher & Portuguese tavern
“Really friendly, welcoming place. Fabulous deli with a great selection of Portuguese food and wines. The home-made Portuguese sausages are fantastic. A true gem in Purley.”
Blythe Hill Tavern
“Class Irish pub. Cosy in the winter, great beer garden in the summer, and one of the few places in London I'll drink the Guinness. The pizza truck there on Friday nights is great as well.”
Park Tavern Pub
“One of the few remaining “proper pubs” in the area and it’s fantastic - warm welcome from the bar staff, fantastic ales, friendly locals - so glad to have found the Park Tavern!”

Old Town Tavern
“Neat little pub. The service was great and the food was tasty. I didn't expect mexican food, but it was quite good.”
The Holy Tavern
“A unique and very special London pub experience. Fresh beer straight from the barrel in a historic building that makes you think that Pepys and Dickens might walk in any second. Decent pork pies, too!”
Ailsa Tavern
“Great British pub and food. Just one merry of staff on but what a guy. He was brilliant and couldn't have done more for us. Thank you.”
North End Tavern Worcester Park
“Dave, what can I say. What an outstanding pub that you run. Not only your staff, but your Christmas decorations are phenomenal. The atmosphere is infectious. I love coming to the north end tavern!”
The Effra Hall Tavern
“We came to watch the Portugal / Morocco world cup game. There was one guy manning the bar as the pub got progressively busier with minimal standing room let alone free tables. Every single one of us came back from ordering drinks commenting on the guy running the bar on his own, stunned at how good he was taking multiple orders, completely unphased by the increasing business around him. It was genuinely impressive and I can't praise how good he was enough! V strong selection of beers on tap, big screen for football, and a small outdoor area.”
Shaftesbury Tavern
“I can honestly say that this pub is so friendly. and my god! If you ever get a chance to go on a Sunday, the roasts are out of this world delicious. Good selection of IPA beers. I will be back”
The Haverstock Tavern
“At 1st glance it looked a little shabby but we gave it a chance, ordered from the bar and had a couple of drinks, staff were friendly and helpful, food came quick enough and have to say it was absolutely amazing, chef definaey deserves the 5 stars, definitely going back.”
The Victoria Tavern
“I went there for a foosball tournament and it was fantastic! It was well organized, the crowd was really friendly yet competitive, the tables were really smooth and easy to play. I loved the beers too, there is a great selection and all I tried were good.”
Leytonstone Tavern
“Hands down the best food I've eaten all year. We watched an Instagram about this place and had to try, and we were not disappointed. The staff were amazing, I forgot the name of the lady who served us but she was really good. Over all, ten out of ten.”
Park Tavern
“Always love going to the park tavern, it's warm and friendly and the Cheesy chips are the best and they serve the best Guinness.”
The Boleyn Tavern
“Went here on a trip from peterborough to see our son and daughter in law, been looking forward to it since it has been done up. The truly traditional makeover is brilliant, little snugs, great choice of beers, staff so friendly and dog friendly, even a nice traditional fireplace. Not normally a sports pub as such I an told even though though back to the days of the West Ham games, but FIFA World Cup screened at the moment. We all had a meal too, not Michelin but it is pub grub after all , the Chicken Kiev was not good, Pork chops great and fish and chips average.. however just a great experience and place overall.”
Railway Tavern, Lower Sydenham
“Lovely pub has everything you need. Very nice workers and owner”
The Nell Gwynne Tavern
“Very homely tiny pub with a very nice interior and a feel to it. Has a traditional pub-cum-dive bar feel to it with a good old smell of stale beer and alcohol soaked curtains flirting with mould. :) Really cool intimate place. Will definitely be bringing people here. Very unique.”
Thyme at the Tavern
“Great place to stay in a small village not far from lgw. Amazing breakfast. Great pub full of locals and impressive live music on Fridays. Will return.”
Tiffty's Tavern
“Great experience....Wonderful atmosphere, especially on Saturday evenings with Irish folk music and dancing...Affordable prices....clean and tidy facilities..”
Express Tavern
“It's a quintessential tavern that serves excellent food and a range of drinks. In addition to the indoor seating it boasts a lovely beer garden. Plus pets are welcome.”
East Putney Tavern
“What a fantastic little pub. A short walk from East Putney tube station, it's a sprawling pub over 3 levels with a beer garden out the back. The staff were wonderful: very friendly, cheerful and helpful and happy to chat. The pub was very clean and tidy with lots of seating Including some very comfortable looking sofas. And if you're interested, they show the six nations rugby. I know I don't mention food very much, but the beef brisket nuggets with caper mayo was absolutely brilliant. The Guinness was excellent as was the Wimbledon Brewery's Copper Leaf. I usually take pics of the ales/bitters on offer to indicate their availability, but I forgot to do that have - they sell ales/bitters.”
The North London Tavern
“North London Tavern is such a vibe! came here twice.. once for a gig and the live music was amazing! second time was for a work event and Dean was so accommodating. We all had such a lovely time and such a vibe! Definitely be back”
Priory Tavern Kilburn
“Had great time there with my friends on Friday. Good atmosphere. Fantastic food and the bar team were very attentive. We had two pizzas, both hot and tasty. Will be back again!”
The Wells Tavern
“The Wells Tavern is one of Hampstead's best gastro pubs offering all that is needed to be a neighbourhood favourite including a great location, outside seating with heaters and large canopies, good service, tasty food and two floors offering formal and informal dinning. The prices are on the high end when compared to other areas of town, but it is part of the "Hampstead premium". The ground floor is a traditional bar with tables, sofas and all around dog friendliness. The food menu includes plates of chorizo with red pepper and gherkins, cod fishcakes, burgers and grilled tuna steak. Tables outside are at a premium when the sun shines. The upstairs is made up of three small dining rooms, with a more formal menu and setting. The scallops (£14.50) part of the starter menu where fresh and full of flavour, while the ribeye steak (£29.50) was tasty. The portion of chips could be larger but they were perfectly cooked. The duck leg (£19.85) was cooked perfectly.A great spot for drinks, a quick bite to eat or a more formal meal if you do not mind the premium prices.”
The Great Northern Railway Tavern, N8
“My husband and I celebrated our marriage at the pub in June, and the venue and everyone who works there were amazing! We wanted to say a huge thank you for such a great evening. They were very communicative, helped us plan the day, set up the beautiful room upstairs, provided great food and drink, and were a joy to have share our special day with!”
The Havelock Tavern
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! The Havelock makes me want to move to Kensington within walking distance. Wonderful kitchen, great beer, super friendly helpers. Amazing!”
