“Under new ownership the last few weeks, and now the food is fresh and really high quality, the batter has a lovely crunch and the cod really light and fresh. Cash only at the mo, but the owner said once it gets busy he will start accepting card. Very friendly owner. Let's hope the standard stays as high as it is at the moment. Will be back.”

The ambience is quite in your face so if you like a quiet restaurant, maybe here is not for you but they play nice music and it's not so loud you can't talk. Food portions are huge, which we appreciated! Ordered the shared platter for two with a lovely bottle of Greek wine. Waiters were pleasant enough. It's not fancy but it is honest, solid food (and a ton of it), with a robust party atmosphere! It's not cheap but it's also not expensive either. I'd go back.”

“Had an amazing family meal at Cacio e Pepe early Saturday evening on 31/07/21. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The food could not be faulted. In fact, the only fault I could possibly find would be that the starter portions are FAR too generous. We will certainly be sharing starters on our next visit. Very varied menu and everything we had was cooked spot on. Cannot comment on the deserts as we were far too full to even look at the desert menu. All in all a fantastic and authentic Italian restaurant to have on your doorstep.”

“I eat out every day. So I know quality over quantity. This little Italian restaurant always delivers high quality food and an experience. Only criticism I would have never known it’s there. I literally went in there by accident to try something new and I loved the food so much I haven’t stopped going back. I’ve eaten at this place for a good few years now. “Very lovely place, I haven't been there in a few years and it's all changed. (For the better), they now have a lovely outside space and a heated seating area. Good choice of beer, cider, gin. Good atmosphere, they also serve coffee during the day. Dogs are welcome which is brilliant, and the family that run it are lovely. Rachel is a proper laugh. All in all its a great place and I will be going back.”

“Lovely family feel , they get to know the regulars . Lovely food and they always aim above the norm when your after the kinda food your looking for . Delivery guys are so polite , I always tip them . Food is great , I'm still hooked on certain things from the menu , wish I could diverse , but the food is so tasty and satisfying . Only thing I wish they would do is BOMBAY DUCK . For me then , it would be perfect.”

“Great Wetherspoons pub. Compact and friendly. Good value food and drink. Staff helpful and welcoming, we stayed further along the road at the Travelodge so this place was ideal for a night cap, then breakfast in the mornings. Spotlessly clean first thing in the morning! (Credit to your cleaner! ) Good place to visit. Good breakfasts too, enjoyed.”
