I worked in retail for over 18 years, mainly in Oxford Street, both Westfields and Brent Cross, as well as Knightbridge, so when I say the cashier was brilliant, I mean it! I was able to make a purchase and order what they didn't have available instore. Thank you!”

“Great store with friendly and helpful staff. Good stock of products, as I always seem to get what I need. My only gripe is a lot of products are not £1, many products are now £1.25, £1.50. £2 and upwards, so not sure it’s should be called Poundland, maybe Poundsland. Still a very good store though.”

“Mother and I are a frequent shopper/visitor to this Poundland coming from East London, and theres a friendly, professional, indian lady whos always at the front of the store - assisting customers, and I notice that there is never any other staff assisting her, at checkout, nor at the main door. There should be a security guard, and 2/3 people on checkout, the Management are clearly racist as shes the only indian lady doing 4 jobs at once, the Store Manager you should be ashamed of yourselves, your staff seem to hide in stock dpt, and at the back of the store, and noone seems to come to the checkouts. Poundland your a racist, employer - I hope this lady finds a better job, as your treat her like a skivvy.”

“Wilko High Street is a great place to get all the day-to-day neccessities for your home. There are a range of items from personal hygiene, hair spray, kitchen pots and pans, storage boxes, curtains and curtain rods, lighting, electrical items, DIY tools and fittings as well as paints and accessories. Wilko also stocks pet supplies, garden tools, plants and gardening stuff, a wide range of stationery and barbecue items. For home - there are throws, quilts & covers, pillows, fragrance candles and tea lights as well as photo frames and carpet cleaning equipment hire. All in all its a go to place and is very reasonably priced.”

“To be hounest when i first used the shop they didnt seem to welcome me and there paypoint never worked i was kinda put off by this, i know paypoints are a zero mark up profit so i guess they didnt like you just using the store for just the zero profit benefits as these are used in shops to attract customers to buy items then top up there elcetric or gas , but as i became a regular due to prices in another nearby shop , after a while all of a sudden there paypoint always worked lol and they became more friendly now i wont vist many other small convenience stores because they are atualy nice people when you get to know them and become a regualar customer - husband and wife run store”
