Back in Shape Clinic
“Dr Anthony helped me recover from a major lower back incident only in 4 visits, at a point when I was feeling insecure and afraid that I had suffered serious damage. When I started my physiotherapy I had difficulty walking, lifting weights, sleeping, and even sitting in my office chair, which made my every day life very difficult, especially as the father of a toddler. The exercises and therapy that Dr Anthony asked me to follow took into consideration the chronic problems I'd been having with my lower back, and previous episodes that stretched back almost 16 years. I feel healthier, more confident, and my core muscles have strengthened because of the exercises. Highly recommended! John Tzagkarakis”
New Wave Academy Training Centre (Croydon)
“Got to give them 5 stars. They no their stuff best of all its an academy. So the kids can grow instead of changing gyms. They have a fighting course if you actually want to train to fight. And compitions for the kids”
Croydon School of Gymnastics
“Family orientated club. I have been going on and off for over 30 years now. It’s a great second home to all kids and adults alike. If you’re an adult and want to get fit yourself, get back into it or just meet others trying the sport out then it’s a great place to go. If you want to set your child(ren) up for life with basic skill such as, co-ordination, strength, flexibility, and general fitness, get them along. I’m already taking my 20 month old daughter along to the parent and toddler classes and she loves it (soft play with structure). Can’t recommend it highly enough.”
St Mary's Catholic Junior School, Croydon
“My son started nursery there and I just move my daughter she is in year 1, she loves the teachers and the school that's what makes me comfortable and happy when you see your children love a school. Very caring teachers and very discipline school.”
Croydon Taekwon-Do Academy
“I train taekwondo and kickboxing here under Grandmaster Nardizzi (taekwondo) and Mr Jason Ogden (kickboxing) . GM Nardizzi has been the best instructor i have trained under over the years. With the nature of my job, im often moving around the country and training taekwondo under different instructors. But hands down GM Nardizzi is the best instructor ive trained under. I only started kickboxing at Impact last year under mr ogden. He too is one of the best martial arts instructors ive trained under. He has trained up fighters to become kickboxing national champions. His classes are very welcoming and very vigorous and if youre looking for a good work out and a great teacher his classes are where to go!”
Trinity Sports Club
“Play football up here weekly. Pitches are great for all weather and parking is good to. From what I can see the gym facilities look great with a swimming pool too. The staff are always friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking to undertake any sports activities”
Croydon Road Recreation Ground
“Great place to catch a breath after work or just have a quiet walk in the evening. Plenty of benches to have a sit and read a book or contemplate life Park smells fantastic in the evening mid May ,when various plants start blossoming. Even during a sunny days , it doesn't get too busy. If u play tennis ,there are 8 courts at your disposal (you have to buy a membership which is only a small annual fee). Annoying things are dog owners that let their dogs run freely everywhere without leash - it shouldn't be allowed ( some time ago one dog grabbed my sandwich and the owner lady found it funny)”
Croydon High Sports & Fitness Club
“Nice centre, small gym with recently updated equipment, nice full size pool with family swim times. Lots of parking and friendly staff.”
Evergreen Sports Clinic
“I would highly recommend this clinic. I was badly injured in a rugby match and went to various surgeries before I found Evergreen Sports Clinic. The care and rehabilitation methods were far superior to the other clinics I visited. Sally was brilliant.”

Croydon Sports Therapy
“As a keen runner and cyclist I knew in the back of my mind that I should probably do some strength training, but never really got round to it. I was diagnosed with osteopenia and that was the moment I decided that I had to take strength training more seriously…if only I knew where to start… That’s where Bea came in; she focussed on my diet, gave 1:1s with the right amount of challenge and wrote useful training plans. It’s been a real voyage of discovery. I could hardly lift a 6kg kettlebell when I started, but 11 months on I have progressed to 55kg squats. I really recommend training with Bea. She is professional, has lots of pearls of wisdom from her own experiences (duathlons, marathons, ironman, powerlifting) and has great attention to detail to help you reach your goals. I never thought I would enjoy strength training but that’s what comes with having a great PT!”
Tenpin Croydon
“This place was amazing with lots of games and fun stuff. I mean you can never get bored in a place like that. There’s always something to keep you busy both adults and children. I had great fun bowling which happened to be my first time.”
Croydon College
“I went to this college for many years, and whilst it did have some struggles here and there, it was always improving constantly and the facilities it offered were exceptional. I truly felt like I was a part of the college and I do miss visiting it from time to time, especially just to see how much it has improved. The staff were really helpful and enthusiastic and always went above and beyond for their students.”
Holiday Inn Express London - Croydon, an IHG Hotel
“Had to book two rooms last minute due to finding our AirBnB room was absolutely disgusting, having travelled down for a family funeral. Leah from reception was great, really helpful and accommodating, fitting us in and sorting requests for extra towels, blankets and a heater. On the whole, customer service has been brilliant. Can't fault the team (only two visible members of staff - working very hard). Credit to the chain and their hotel. Cant thank them enough”
