The quality and variety is what stood out for me - starters such as Jeera Chicken made with chicken on the bone, cassava root with garlic and chilli and paneer shashlik were my favourites. Great atmosphere and service as well, plus the wonderful Tusker beer, I highly recommend this place!”

Heard recently ownership had changed again and decided to give it another go. The improvement was marked. “I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants but this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. We had googled “best Indian near me” and this came up. I’m usually quite skeptical but it 100% lived up to the reviews. Friendly staff , absolutely delicious dishes, fast service and very clean! We initially planned on ordering to go but as soon as we walked in the door, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, we decided to eat in. We were served by Naz, Customer service was very good! Dishes were flavourful and reasonably priced. We ordered 3 starters (King prawn puri and lamb chops were my favs) 2 mains (lamb rogan Josh was 10/10), 5 sides (pershwari naan x3 & seasoned potatoes were the stars of the show)and 6 drinks and I couldn’t believe how cheap the bill! Unlike most restaurants in london, they didn’t add the 20% gratuity so please be sure to leave a tip if you enjoy the service. I would definitely be coming back.”

“One of the best Majestic stores in central London with amazing variety and quality. The service is amazing. My only critic is that it will be nice if there is a little more variety in Whiskies. However, after the recent refurbishment is one of my favourite wine shops in London where you can find from the best-of-the-best to budget wines (great selection of gin and beers, poor one of whiskies). The team is quite knowledgeable.”

“Anjanaas never disappoints. Have been ordering takeaway from them since I discovered them on UberEats last year and have been very loyal ever since. I went to dine-in for the first time and the staff were attentive and very friendly, the music added great atmosphere as well. As a vegetarian, I love all of their veg dishes as the flavours and portions are great. The mango juice was also one of the best mango juices I’ve had in my life. I always recommend this lovely restaurant to friends & family :)”

“Really loved it at Mortar + Pestle, delicious food and good value (mains are around £10-15). We enjoyed piping hot vegetable spring rolls (though an even number to share would have been better), a Tom yum prawn noodle soup, and a Thai green prawn curry. All the prawns come shelled which is great, but the curry portion was rather small and doesn’t come with rice - that is £3 extra. The staff advised this upfront as I was ordering, which was nice. We came for a quick bite to eat and a long catch-up, so didn’t try much else but the menu was extensive and I definitely want to return and order heaps more! What we did order was very flavoursome, and packed with juicy prawns and fresh vegetables.”

“Having lived in China for almost a decade, and been in London for 5 years, I've missed Uyghur cuisine. Needless to say, I'm absolutely delighted to have been introduced to this place by a friend. The portions were generous, and the chicken with "naan" was an off the menu item and a must have. Reservation is a must as its a smaller restaurant and fill up quickly. The owners came out to greet us and they're really lovely too. Will definitely be back for authentic Uyghur cuisine.”

“Booked for a Thursday evening around 8pm. Very small place but love the intimate setting and small menu. Service- wonderful and so friendly, very happy with the overall experience. “Absolutely fantastic experience at Dalchini! We visited for our wedding anniversary - enjoyed the best of Indo-Chinese cuisine! Highly recommend the chicken lollipops, Hunan chicken, both - the Burnt Garlic, and Burnt Ginger fried rice, each with chicken, and the Prawn Manchurian. Loved the cocktails too!
