Why would you visit this place when the cakes, coffee, sandwiches and jacket potatoes are so so good . Also found out today they provide outside catering too! Cake orders, afternoon teas etc. Such a fab place.”

“Was looking for a local cafe for a vegetarian breakfast with good reviews, we were originally going to another cafe but luckily we decided to try this little gem! We were warmly greeted and seated quickly (given we are in the midst of COVID19). We were given paper menus and all the tables were socially distance well with a track and trace QR code on the door too. It was really well protected and safe for the patrons of the cafe. Our order was taken and we were served an amazing fresh breakfast with a tea each, for me it was a perfect portion (not too much and not too little) and filled me up. Refills were free which was great value given that they came free with our breakfast. The food is fresh and tasty and I highly recommend the vegetarian to fellow veggies or those wanting a leaner option. The hostesses were all friendly and lovely people, from a little chat when ordering to a joke when paying, it made this little cafe pop out and make it feel more like you were at a friends or family members kitchen for brekkie. I only have praise for the ladies (didn’t see any men but if there was them too). Cost was shockingly low and when we were presented with the bill I thought something was missed off but I was told nope that’s all it is, I will be going back for all the reasons listed above. Plus at this price it makes it hard to even make my own brekkie for less. Highly recommend this to all and remember to tip and support these business in these times, they are going above and beyond to keep us safe. Huge thanks to all of the hostesses (and hosts)!”

“We were waiting for a train to Oxted and got chatting to another dog owner. They recommended this place, so we thought we would give it a shot and we are glad we did. A couple of lovely sandwiches and hot drinks in their calming sit down at the back of the shop. They even gave our puppy a little treat. Good portion of fresh salad on the side and great service from I presume the owners. Good chat too. A real local gem. Will definitely be back.”

“Great little Cafe, stopped in for a quick bite as we were working in the area. Good breakfast menu, reasonable prices, staff very happy and welcoming. Breakfast was served quickly and without hassle, breakfast included a coffee or tea and toast. Everything looked clean and no stickiness on the tables or counter, nothing worse than your arms getting stuck to the table. Would recommend this for a good, cheap breakfast”

“I love this place and have since taken different people along with me to enjoy it too. We have always been made to feel incredibly welcome by the owners and the food and hot drinks are great. The portions are really large but with a focus on well sourced produce which is very important to the owners. The prices of everything listed are incredibly reasonable and the range of cakes and baked goods are extensive and delicious.”

At the time of writing this review ( end of March 22 ) full breakfast with tea/coffee + toast included , double beacon, double egg, for £6.50 Wow nice service, clean toilets, I do fully recommend! Tea Was delicious cannot tell you about coffee but coffee machine here is massive as big as Costa or StarB. So jump in even if only for coffee and support local business! Thanks again!”

It's in such great location, especially if you unfortunately have a hospital visit, Homerton hospital is around the corner and Chatsworth road market up the road. “I was looking for lunch but wanted a relatively light and quick sandwhich but I didn’t want a supermarket meal deal or a bland coffee chain product. I walked from Clapham South to Clapham North and didn’t see anything on the way until the last moment when I found this place. I was really happy with my handmade baguette with spicy tuna, cheddar and cucumber. Wish there were more independent cafes like this around. I don’t live that local to this but If I’m ever in the area I will definitely come back”
