“Best Turkish in Essex! Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. The bread is the best I’ve ever had; so deliciously seasoned and their homemade chilli sauce is incredible! Highly recommend ordering the hummus kuvurma. Mains are very large, would recommend sharing 1 between 2 people, or if you order your own and can’t finish it, ask for a takeaway box. My go-to main is the sarma chicken beyti; absolutely delicious! I forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to eat it, but I’ll be sure to get a picture next time I go and update this review.”

“I cannot praise Joseph highly enough. The dance floor was packed the entire time and the atmosphere was incredible! He knew exactly what to play to get (and keep) the party going. Not only that, the prep that went into it was impressive where we agreed timings and playlist as well as working well with the caterer. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. “Lynne floral art did the arch entrance of my daughter’s debut party. It was so beautifully made. It matched the flowers to my daughter’s dress and it gives colour to the ambiance. Service was also excellent and efficient. Lynne has a very high standard with her artwork. The flower arch looks stunningly beautiful and it looks really good as a background picture. I would highly recommend it. Thank you Lynne for this beautiful piece of art. The bouquet was also beautiful, my daughter loves it.”

“I recently had a bouquet of flowers delivered by Tigerlily from a work colleague. They were beautiful and lasted around two weeks. My colleague said the service was fantastic and the shop was really courteous and happy to help with the order and delivery. I've never bought flowers from Tigerlily but should I need to in future, I wouldn't hesitate to use as I've now seen the quality of flowers and heard of the good service. They are less than a 10 minute walk from my home too which is a bonus!”

“I first had inco as a take away and I was impressed. So decided tonight that I’d take the restaurant for a swing thanks to the help out scheme. What a treat. I had a mixed grill and it was HUGE. Value for money was there and the quality was excellent. One of the nicest Turkish restaurants I’ve eaten at. If you like me are thinking about giving it a try but needed a push this is your push. “A nice Turkish restaurant. The decor is outdated but the staff are friendly and the food is tasty. The complementary starter of lamachun and warm bread was a good start, the dips could have been a little more flavourful. The Melih Special Platter for 2 was great. The meat was juicy and flavoursome and the complementary dessert at the end was a nice touch. The price was very good too.”

“Lovely service, friendly staff and great food. Went for my boyfriend’s birthday( 6 people) and the total bill was around £300. We got so many rounds of drinks and food for each person, including one desert and coffees. A free drink at the end was also offered. My boyfriend comes here quite often and really enjoys the fish and chips.”

“Extremely friendly, chatty, happy, lively and caring staff. Sarah especially. Its an old traditional pub. I can taste they clean the pipes regularly so the alcohol taste fresh, other pubs don't clean often and can notice the difference. I will definitely be returning due to great customer service and atmosphere.”

“We were greeted at the door by one of the waitresses that show us our table. After a couple of minutes our server approach us to introduce herself, explaining the different options of the kids menu and also took our drinks order. Drinks were fast to arrive to the table and our starters too. The food was really good and affordable. Cristina our waitress was very friendly, attentive and playful with the 2 kids. Her recommendations were spot on. Definitely coming back”
