“Having been ordering from here for years now, since they opened! I am half Persian so know about good Persian food as my dad is an amazing cook and this restaurant has top quality food and it’s always cooked to perfection every time I order or dine in. The koobideh and joojeh is my favourite but for a stew I always have gormeh sabzi. The chips are really nice too. I have also had catering from them for a party and as usual they gave a great service! Highly recommend.”

“We were meant to go here a couple of years ago then the pandemic hit so it got delayed. It was tricky to book as it's so popular but we got a table for lunch and decided to each have a different tasting menu so we could try everything on offer. The service was brilliant, the food was sublime. The offer of a cheese course before the desserts was very welcome, and the selection of cheeses was great.”

“Have dined a number of times and never been disappointed. As it was bonfire night a friend and I decided to get a takeaway. The food was beautiful, hot, with all the right spices, making it the same as if dined in. What was exceptional was that 2/3 minutes after opening the takeaway bag I realised that one item was incorrect but as we liked this starter anyway we decided not to bother to do anything. However the phone went and panorama rang, full of apologies and sent a driver out with the item we had ordered. I said it didn’t matter but they insisted. I thought this was great customer service. Amazing food, never disappointed completed with great customer service by lovely people”

“I ordered here for the first time and I loved the food. The brown stew fish was so delicious and flavoursome, the rice and peas were tasty, the steamed vegetables were enjoyable and the dumpling was good. The dumpling was thrown in for free which was a nice touch. The portion sizes are very generous, really good value for money. I phoned the restaurant to see if the rice and peas were included with the brown stew fish and the woman on the phone was really warm and friendly. I've tried many Caribbean takeaways in East London and this one is by far the best. I would highly recommend!”

“Best dining experience of my life! Absolutely incredible food, attention to detail from the friendly waiting staff and a super cool & ambient atmosphere made for a 10 out of 10 experience! You will not be disappointed with the "All in" menu whether you eat meat or are vegetarian/ vegan - every single dish was beautifully assembled and tasted phenomenal! There was so much variety too. From wherever you sit in the restaurant, you can also see the care & effort the chefs put in to preparing the food and the waiting staff genuinely seem proud and knowledgeable about the food they're serving to you. “The best Indian food around! Tons of options on the menu, very rich in flavour, for reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly, best if you check with them about a 'spicy' level of each dish (some meals are extremely hot). Option to bring your own drinks to the restaurant is a big plus!”

“We love Apna! This is our go-to takeaway. We've tried most dishes on the "modern classics" menu and have enjoyed each one, but our favourite is the Gurkha's Revenge (lamb) and Pista Malai (chicken). They are always so friendly on the phone as well. I wish it was a restaurant because I would go in a flash. Thank you Apna team for consistently wonderful food!”
