“Not sure about the older reviews - I see mixed opinions; my experience with it - we just ordered from Rajeev after he moved to the Jolly Farmers pub. Food was very nice, arrived quick with no delivery fee and they’ve got a lot of mains in the menu that I never tried / you typically don’t find in most Indian restaurants. We’ll order again surely and looking forward for the summer to eat in at the pub garden.”

“I don’t usually write reviews but Oh my goodness, Shahjan is the best indian takeaway we’ve ever had and we’re quite fussy.. have been ordering from them for about 2 years and they never disappoint. “It's a good Sri Lankan and South Indian food.Great place to spend some time with your friends and family. I went with my three friends .I love dosa, so I order one masala dosa. I really enjoyed it, especially with red chutney, and my friends ordered chicken 65 and briyani. ,I didn’t taste the briyani, I only tasted the chicken 65. It’s amazing with spices. We mentioned our spicy level, so they prepared as per our wishes. Service also good staff looks enthusiastic.we had a great time.”

“One of the most affordable and authentic Indian takeaway places. The Bombay chicken is exactly how it tastes back home. Very fresh salad, well cooked and perfectly spiced chicken. I have never eaten this good chicken curry at this price point in London. Kudos to the staff and chef. Please please please don’t ever change your recipe. It will remind a lot of people of home. I would prefer to skip the expensive Mayfair Indian restaurants and rather take away 2 bowls from here for a better taste and authentic Indian chicken curry”
