"One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a takeaway order. I ordered a takeaway for me and my partner! It was roughly £30 and said it was on its way for 3 hours. I kept calling and calling and them they finally answered the phone after 45mins they said "it's on its way to you" WHAT FOR 3 HOURS? 4 hours later I asked for a full refund and got £3 credit instead. After disputing this I finally got my refund back. Absolutely TRASH service."

"Ordered at half 6 On Valentine’s Day and it never arrived. I asked for an update when it was late and was told 8:25, 8:30 came and still no food so I rung the restaurant for them to tell me they are really busy and on there way. 9:30 comes and still haven’t arrived so rang again with no answer so I kept trying and got through at 9:50 to be told it’s on its way. That was another lie. I contacted just eat and got a refund and we decided to go bed as Valentine’s Day was over and ruined. We are asleep and we get a phone call at 11:35 and it’s the restaurant saying it’s gonna be another 10 minutes. Why would I want to eat a dinner I ordered 5 hours ago. The guy on the phone kept apologising and saying we can have it for free but like I mentioned it was 11:35 and we was already asleep. We got our refund but still so angry with the service."

"Used this indian for years but just lately the chicken meat has been very tough curry a bit waterey and getting very expensive meal we normally order gone up by £6.50 ."

"Mediocre at best and in the most parts poor. The chicken dansak was watery, shatkora gosht was terrible with tough chewy meat. The naan was stodgy and slimely, the rice was stuck together. Very slow delivery times, in most cases, if they do not arrive with your food you’d have dodged a bullet!"

"I don’t usually write reviews but Oh my goodness, Shahjan is the best indian takeaway we’ve ever had and we’re quite fussy.. have been ordering from them for about 2 years and they never disappoint. Chicken is succulent and just can’t fault them. Great value for money. Would so recommend. Big Thank you to the staff!"
