Westminster Boating Base
“Went with my school many years ago and utterly loved it. The boating base gives you the opportunity to interactive with one of London's greatest natural attractions, The Thames. You get to see London from a completely new perspective. It's excellent exercise, really good fun and you are really well looked after. I have since been back as an adult and had an equally positive experience, will go again soon.”
Putney Salsa Club
“Great Classes and asmotphere. I attended a Bachata Workshop on a Saturday for 3 hours. From the begining it was very professional as we were explained the method and how we would develop our learning every hour. Groups were divided into levels and before we danced we started with a warming up process. Both teacher (Jeff and Mia) explained every doubt we had. I personally recommend both the classes and workshop if you like to go a bit deeper ;) .”
The Muswell Hill Club
“The best gym in the area. Since its reopening, I have joined the club and have to admit it is simply the best in the area. Super friendly management and staff, great amenities (lots of recent equipment for all kind of practice - cardio, weights, classes - pool, sauna and a lovely chill area), very clean and maintained. Members are also nice people and working out in a good atmosphere absolutely no show off, no one judging each other - everyone is welcome and it feels like it.”
Fatboys Original By Hossien

Khamsa - Algerian Café restaurant
“Meticulously executed cross between fine dining and home cooking. Authentic Algerian with a 21st century twist served in lovely Arab platters and bowls. Atmospheric interior with colourful rugs and carpets. Soft North African background music. Very friendly owners. BYOB”
Dobar
“Went with my friend today for lunch and coffee, we waited outside for a short while in a small queue before we were given a lovely window seat. It’s quite small inside with a good atmosphere, very busy, very clean and lovely decor. The service was friendly and very quick. Loved our food and will definitely go back to try some of the other delicious dishes we saw others having. 5⭐️”
Haywards
“We’ve been coming to Haywards for almost ten years now and despite many changes to staff in the kitchen and front of house the standards have never dropped. Under the guidance of owners Amanda and Jahdre they have still manage to produce amazing food with friendly and professional service. Our latest visit was Saturday lunchtime where on arrival we received a lovely welcome from Amanda before she escorted us to our customary table 10. After a little catch up she told us that Jahdre had created for us a special menu that would showcase all the new dishes on the menu. This was a fabulous gesture and one we gladly accepted. We started with homemade Granary Sourdough bread and a selection of snacks including a cauliflower cheese veloute , harissa arancini , goat’s cheese and tomato canneloni. This led us to out first course a Chicken and Ham Hock Terrine with celeriac remoulade , toasted brioche and a homemade piccalilli. This was followed by the Fillet of Pollock with a crab bisque , hispi cabbage. and parsnips. Both dishes were an absolute delight and the flavours complimented each other perfectly. Amanda paired the courses with a Framingham 2021 Riesling from New Zealand. We now moved onto the main course which was a heavenly and rich Braised Pork Cheek with a white bean cassoulet and gremolata topped with a piece of pork crackling. This was paired with a Grand Garant 2020 Fleurie from France. We decided to follow this with a Cheese Course. We then finished with dessert which was a Chocolate Mousse with mascarpone sorbet , coffee cremaux and lime gel a twist on a tiramisu. The pairing for this dessert was a beautiful Australian Muscat from the Rosewood Vineyards that tasted like a light pedro ximinez. Apparently we wasn’t finished there as chef Jahdre sent out an Orange Soufflé with grand marnier caramel and cinnamon ice cream. This was a delight and the flavour combinations worked perfectly together. A coffee and petit fours brought to an end another fabulous dining experience at Haywards with fantastic food , perfect wine pairings and great service. If i ever needed another reason why i think this is the best restaurant in Essex then today’s visit did everything to enhance that. Looking forward to many more visits this year which will at some point include our 150th. Thank You Amanda and Jahdre for a fantastic lunch and look forward to seeing you again soon.”

“Friendly staff and very welcoming. The little girl at the counter was happy and full of smile. That's what you really want from a cafe, isn't it. Coffee is almost same everywhere but it's the service that matters. Seems like a favourite with locals Will go here again.”

Old House
“A friendly, off-the beaten track local pub, serving great ales direct from the cask. Very traditional interior, and the locals are engaged in funny conversations and banter. This was a great pit stop on our long walk. I think this was how all pubs used to be - a genuine meeting place rather than somewhere to extract money out of you - I hope it never changes!”
Crystal Palace Pizza & Grill
“Nice food. Will pop by whenever visiting Crystal Palace FC’s Selhurst Park Stadium.”
