"Good choice of ales and there was a quiz taking place when we were there. Parking could be a problem so best to go by public transport (bus). Very unsual the way into The Cockpit is through a florist."

"A great place with really friendly service. The beers are brilliant. The chalkboard listing the beers is constantly changing which means every visit is a different experience. Wide selection of wine, gins and artisan ciders to choose from. Lovely outdoor seating for the warmer months and food platers offer hearty fare - scotch eggs, pork pies and charcuterie. If you need helpful advice choosing your beer of choice the knowledgeable staff are always more than keen to assist."
