“Lovely service from friendly staff! The store is clean, presentable and bright. The decor is a little outdated and the store is need of a refurb as the artwork looks tired and worn. The staff are lovely and always serve with a smile! A great selection of hot and cold drinks/food. Uber Eats delivery is also very speedy too. A good spot to enjoy a quiet lunch if you’re passing through Coulsdon!”

“Interesting polarisation of past reviews but I have to take as I find. I was only looking for advice and was upfront about the reason when I popped by. The shop manager was extremely helpful and spent a good 20-25 minutes taking me through all the complications of raw dog food. As a new owner I had some pretty dumb questions but I didnt get the sense at anytime that I had outstayed my welcome. The Owner clearly had a depth of experience (with dogs at least) and was happy to guide me. I would be surprised if you get that level of service in Pets at Home etc but it is a relatively small shop, heavily stocked so if room to push your shopping trolley is a priority, its possibly not the shop for you?”

Prices very affordable and good value. Good atmosphere, attracts really nice local people. Also has an alcohol licence, drinks to drink in or take away, good cafe, really nice. Highly recommended.”

“I had an airbag warning light come up on on my car and we were due to go away, towing a caravan at the weekend Cars for you fitted me in on what was a very busy day for them I dropped the car off at 8am And got it back at 9:30 So impressed Will definitely use them in the future So helpful”

And besides this, they do the best cuts in the area (and I've tried a few). £12 for men's cut but make sure you take cash with you as they don't take card and the card machine at the garage over the road is often broken.”

“A lovely independent cafe with good coffee and food, and free WiFi. I just spent nearly 5 hours hanging out here while my car was being serviced/MoT'd across the road. This is something I have done on two previous occasions over the last 3 years. Each time I have enjoyed the food, drink, service and atmosphere here. On this occasion I had two perfectly poached eggs and two very tasty sausages on toast with good, strong, tasty coffee for my breakfast. I was able to hang out, having the occasional drink, working on my laptop with their fast, and free, wi-fi. I saw plenty of places to plug in and recharge if needed too. I ended up having lunch here as well, soup of the day, which was spicy lentil, absolutely delicious, and perfect for a cold, wet, winter's day. The fact that this lovely independent cafe is here, will be a key factor in choosing the next place I go for work on the car, and although I don't live especially close I will definitely pop in if in the area.”

““Rajan at puzzle was very helpful with lots of ideas and suggestions for style and layout, what interested me in approaching them in particular was their use of virtual reality and how it works. It is a total game changer I was literally able to stand in my garden where the extension will go and visualise exactly how my kitchen will look! “Not sure I'd call it a Superstore, but still, very handy Tescos, stocks most of what you'll need and its not that far from the Purley superstore if you're doing a bigger shop, I also think its why it's not so busy a lot of the time. Masses of parking for the Size of the place, staff are very helpful, its normally clean and love that its open till late, I like to pop in at night as pretty much always empty. Had the odd hiccup, but all in all good experience each time shopping at this branch.”

“My eternity ring broke when I smacked it against the wall in the swimming pool. The ring was given to me when my son was born 22 years ago. I have 4 rings representing the past (Mother's wedding ring), the link to the present (engagement ring), present (wedding ring) and future (eternity ring). Without my eternity ring I felt like I had lost the future, so to speak! Woods had said it couldn't be repaired and quoted an extortionate amount for remaking it. I was so upset when I thought I might not be able to afford to repair it. Then Vicki at Purnell's came to the rescue and I now have it back looking stronger, brighter and shinier than ever before - and at a fifth of the price quoted by Woods! She was helpful and honest; she gave great advice and great service. I have my future back. I highly recommend her!! Thank you Vicki!”
