“Hands down some of the best fish shop food i’ve eaten and I spent my childhood in Cornwall. I ended up eating £35 worth of battered goodness in one greasy sitting. All human reflexes left my body and I simply devoured every last amber coloured flake of batter. The next day I spent the morning in the shower, contemplating the animalistic impulse that washed over me, undoing millennia of psychological evolution in one crispy bite. As much as I’d love to return, I simply won’t be able to contain myself if I were to go back to this chippy, I may devolve to a lower state of consciousness. Because of this fried establishment, I must contemplate a life without Cobham Fish Bar’s scran. This leaves an immensely sad feeling within me. I hope you enjoy their food as much as I did. As for the comments relating to the wait time, the wait is irrelevant. If you’re visiting for some stale trawler caught cod, then look elsewhere. The fish is cooked right before your very eyes by keen employees that exist only for us humans culinary enjoyment. They show a genuine interest in the customers day and diligently go through your order to ensure that there are no dinner-time disasters. This team envisage “Quae Sursum Sunt Quaerite”.”

“Have dined a number of times and never been disappointed. As it was bonfire night a friend and I decided to get a takeaway. The food was beautiful, hot, with all the right spices, making it the same as if dined in. What was exceptional was that 2/3 minutes after opening the takeaway bag I realised that one item was incorrect but as we liked this starter anyway we decided not to bother to do anything. However the phone went and panorama rang, full of apologies and sent a driver out with the item we had ordered. I said it didn’t matter but they insisted. I thought this was great customer service. Amazing food, never disappointed completed with great customer service by lovely people”

“We have now used Hart Brown (Corinne Flannery) for 2 purchases and a sale, first in 2015 and then again in July 21. In both instances we were under a tight time frame to exchange and complete our transactions and both times Corinne delivered in good time and maintained a calm and professional service throughout - informing us of expected time frames, engaging with the estate agents and other parties and being responsive and available in good time. Talking to others, the price we paid seems reasonable - not the cheapest and not the most expensive. I have recommended their service to other friends and family who went on to use them. If and when we move again I will return to Hart Brown (and hopefully Corinne!) and have no hesitation recommending their overall service to others. Thanks for all your help :)”

“This review is for dog boarding not grooming as I don't have a dog that needs grooming so I have only used Dollys for boarding but they are absolutely brilliant. Amanda was quick to respond to my enquiry, very friendly and made a huge effort to accommodate my dog at very short notice. Her staff are lovely, very caring and knowledgeable about dogs of all breeds. Mine is an 8 year old flat coated retriever and I could tell, when I picked him up that he'd been very happy there despite never having boarded there before. Dollys is very professional. There is comprehensive paperwork to fill out beforehand which instils great confidence as then you know they have all the information they need about your dog to give him the best possible care. Dollys compares very highly with other dog boarding services I've used in the past and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.”

“First time we had brunch at Fego Cobham, had a great experience. We arrived at 11:30am on a weekday, served immediately. The poached egg and smashed avocado on sourdough bread was ok, pretty standard, very filling. The Mexican-inspired Ranchero, on the other hand, was rather delightful: poached eggs, sautéed potatoes, chorizo, mushroom, jalapenos, smashed avocado, coriander yoghurt. A medium spicy, tomatoey flavour - just perfect! Generous portion as well. Highly recommend!”

“Had day surgery for bowel cancer screening and although they were running late I felt the staff were extremely caring and kept me informed all through my treatment. The air conditioning wasn't working on the hottest day of the year for which they kept apologising but my concern was more for them than me as they would have to suffer all day. “Love our local Waitrose, the staff are all so so friendly and attentive. Good stock on most things , I only wish Waitrose didn’t get rid of their own branded gluten free chocolate cup cakes in the bakery section - for someone who is coeliac like me they were the best tasting cakes I’ve ever had and trust me a lot of gluten free stuff is so dry , but not these!! Pls bring them back :(”
