“As an experienced diner who regularly eats at Al la Carte restaurants every Saturday evening I was lucky to come across Giacomos when searching for somewhere different to try. Crisp white linen table cloths were greatly appreciated as so many restaurants think it is trendy to eat from formica tables despite claiming to be high end. Since our first visit during which we could not fault a single thing we immediately booked to come back within the next two weeks. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the food is good quality beautifully cooked. At the time there was a small party celebrating a birthday who were all enjoying themselves and from an onlooker received excellent service throughout right down to the end of their meal when they were served champagne. This week we discussed how lovely the lighting is, not too bright but a warm glow. I have eaten every variety of meat they have on the menu. The liver, veal. steak and lamb were all cooked to perfection. It is also nice to see people made an effort in the way they dressed which not only showed respect for the restaurant but for other diners. Who wants to see workman's jeans when you have dressed suitably for a lovely evening meal in stylish surroundings, keep them for the burger bar. .”

“As good as the reviews suggest. Calabrese pannini was delicious, and teenage son couldn't stop going on about the pistachio cannoli! Even bought some red wine and panettone for Christmas. Beautiful village setting, would love to come back in warmer weather to sit outside. Finally, lovely staff and well worth drive off the beaten track (note that current postcode TN15 6ND on Google is incorrect and sends you to Sevenoaks centre - just navigate to Kemsing instead)”

“Absolutely fantastic! Hosted my friends baby shower here and I can’t recommend them enough! So accommodating with budget, decorations, etc unlike other venues! Food was delicious, everyone was catered for and commented on how yummy it was. Cocktails were fab too! Honestly, if you have a party to host or you just want somewhere to go for a coffee…(or something stronger) this is the place to go! Most importantly every staff member was lovely, friendly and helpful! 10 out of 10!”

“Our initial plan was just to have a cup of coffee before the hike. Then I wanted to have a quick breakfast. Surprisingly the service was very prompt even inside was packed. “This is by far the best Chinese takeaway we have found in a very long time. We have to travel from Keston near Biggin Hill but it is worth the trek as nothing comes close out this way. The produce they use is clearly of a high quality and taste is both exceptional and consistent! The price is also very good.”

“Went here on a Thursday for a sisters night out. Got to say, was definitely not disappointed with this little gem! The staff were really lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Very polite and attentive. Very relaxed atmosphere with nice decor. Food was amazing; we had salt and pepper chicken and squid (highly recommend) with noodles, rice, two chicken dishes and duck with pancakes etc. A little more pircey than the typical Asian cuisine but definitely worth it considering the quality. Was not greasy whatsoever, just very tasteful and unique. They also let you take home anything that you don't finish, which is an added bonus. “Fantastic food! Really the best lamb kofta wraps. Super juicy and you can tell it's great quality meat. It's traditional and fresh. I was really happy with the portion size. I'm a big boy and was definitely full. The wrap is huge and the boxes have lots inside. Having eaten at some of the top old school Turkish spots in North London, this place is certainly worth a visit!”
