“Thanks all at Marugame Udon for the best sushi/Japanese food ever. The soft chicken Karaage ‘melt in your mouth’ delicious as are all the other dishes I’ve tried. Must try Chicken Paitan & chicken Yaki Udon. Highly recommend to anybody whose not tried it. You won’t be disappointed ☺️”

“Nice environment to eat. At the bottom in Japanese and Korean at the top. The service is ok but we went on a Tuesday and I got the food first and then the drink. In the middle of the meal they remove the plates but the waitress who touched us that day was quite clueless we had to ask for the orders several times because we waited a long time for a simple dessert or a drink, it gives the feeling that the waiters have little memory and according to you go asking they keep walking. We ordered Korean bbq for two adults it is satisfactory. The first batch they explain if you have never been to a place like this, then you cook the meat yourself. The music is nice and everything was neat and clean. If you order the grill, bring wet wipes that with the oil and the tongs make your hands greasy !! I will be back in the future. Price quality is fine. (Sorry for my English is not my first languague)”

“I have been here now on a number of occasions, and the food is always amazing. They have a wide range of dishes, some of which I had not seen previously. Everything that i have tried has been delicious! The waiting staff are friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. One thing to note is that they do not have a licence, so you need to bring your own alcohol. This is not a problem as there is a Tesco next door to the restaurant. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a decent, friendly Indian restaurant in the area.”

Good portion sizes and that saying "you pay for what you get" certainly rings true here. Top that all off with a very friendly (and competent) sushi chef. A most welcome addition to Hornchurch. “Very delicious sushi, you can taste each ingredient and it’s very rich in flavour. The rice is sticky and fresh. Just the way it’s supposed to be. Soya sauce compliments the sushi and the the ginger is so nice. You can’t even taste the bitterness of it. This well it’s prepared. I will definitely try a few more ranges. Just had a quick bite to kill my cravings, but must say well worth it.”

“The food arrived in a good temperature, I ordered Chicken Katsu curry with noodles and salmon box. The delivery arrived on time with packed well which kept in a great looking and taste. Katsu sauce was good portion to mix with noodles. I would love to order them again!”
