"This was not a Japanese katsu. It was served with Thai jasmine rice. The chicken tasted old and had bits of knuckle that my partner and I both bit into. The sauce was nothing like a katsu it was more of a thin gravy. The potatoes were shrivelled, old, grey and very weird. It was inedible. The gyoza were supposed to be steamed and then the bottom pan-fried. They were deep fried. A phone call to the restaurant was pointless. “We don’t know why….” Nothing else said. It seems like there is no Oiwai- the phone call was taken by Thai Crystal staff who spoke to their own team. There was no member of an Oiwai team to talk to."
