“Had a lovely lunchtime ramen as saw this place just opened up. Looks lovely inside. Very relaxed and chilled vibe. Staff are very attentive and fast service. I had a tonkotsu ramen. I've eaten a lot of ramens and this was really good. Very tasty and fresh. I did have a lot of ginger in mine which is fine because I like it but may be too much for others. Will be back”

“Delicious food. Reasonable cost. We got donburi salmon teriyaki and veg curry. Reasonable portions. From the pictures I thought the crockery might be in plastic containers but the food was served in very tasteful japanese ceramics which makes a difference to me to the dining experience. Very delightful pretty surroundings. We were the only ones there, seems like leytonstone is pretty quiet for dining. They are not properly appreciated here! In central London I'm sure they'd be packed. We were there from 6.30-7.30pm or so. There were 2 deliveries collected whilst we were there and 1 guy who came for a take away. Seems more popular for take aways which is a shame as it's a lovely looking restaurant.”

“Fantastic food, recently opened so there's a few service teething problems, but taste wise - really excellent. It's always a good sign when people on other tables ask what you've ordered - after seeing your food. We did have a 30% off voucher, so I guess it could be a little pricey at full price, because it feels like a cafe - but if the venue quality was better, it'd definitely be worth it. Even the desert was delicious. Highly recommend”

“Great food. Not heavy like normal Chinese, with sticky gunky sauces. Here the sauces are light and fresh. In fact at Chow Chow"s their food is very light and far from being heavy. Great for quick lunches.”

“Now if you like Sushi, this is where you have to go if your in the area. Small little place hidden around the corner from the castle, doesn’t seem big from the outside but as you head upstairs you find a cosy little restaurant buzzing with a relaxed vibe. The menu selection is impeccable and I can honestly say, this is the best Sushi I have had in a very, I mean very long time. Generous portions, super fresh, very tasty and brilliant staff. They do takeout too, but I prefer to eat in!”

“Omg this was amazing! Got there early (just before 6) so secured a table for 4 very easily. Once we ordered the food came out really quick and everything was absolutely delicious! “Xin Kai our new local Chinese restaurant. We went for the first time to check it out. Food was delicious, I loved the menu which has large pictures that are really helpful with making your choice. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. We will definitely be going back.”

This restaurant is really affordable. The food was hot and fresh, salad was nice and crunchy. The rice- cooked to perfection. Naan amazing! Loved everything. I will order again. “Food was amazing. Atmosphere was equally as amazing. Honestly one of the places I'm really glad survived the hardships of COVID. Had friends staying round and decided to go here. They loved the amount of choice that was available. Price wise it isn't what one would call cheap, but definitely feels worth the price. Will be looking to go again before 2023”

“This was an experience. We dropped by on our trip just to try some higher end Japanese cuisine, and boy, did we. The atmosphere was pretty authentic, with just enough western mixed in, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was exquisite. Sure, reservations were a little hard to come by so we had to go for an early dinner, and the Beef Gohan was just a tad bit too salty, but it was a fantastic experience overall.”

“I've ordered twice and the food has come very fast and hot. The food is authentic enough to be amazing but not overpowering. I love their katsu curry very much and will always order that from now on. It's lovely to have a halal good sushi restaurant close to me. I just wish they made bubble tea as well but that's more my preference rather than the restaurant. I would highly recommend to everyone. I also recommend ordering directly from their website as they always have some sort of discount.”

“My partner and I go here on a regular basis, fairly honest on a weekly basis. The staff are always next to nothing short of exceptional to us and everyone else who are lucky enough to go here. It's got the typical Japanese sombre yet comfortable atmosphere and you'll be very surprised at just how quick and delicious the food comes out. “A chilled restaurant with good, inexpensive and kindly served food. I loved that it doesn't cost you a fortune to have a decent meal. The salmon teriyaki and salmon gyoza were my favourite, the chicken ramen was also good, whereas I expected a bit more for the teriyaki chicken wings and the pork gyoza. Recommended!”

“Editing review back to 5 star, after consistently delicious take away. I used to be a fan of Hashi, then the quality of food dropped. I haven’t ordered anything for over a year until recently, to be pleasantly surprised. I’ve now had a great experience 3 times in a row and can say Crunch and Hoshi maki are great again, Nasu Dengaku is the best grilled aubergine I’ve tried, salmon Tataki is delicious too. Everything tastes really fresh. Please keep it up!”
