The shop assistant not only showed me what they had, but stopped me spending £8 when I could spend $1.99 and get exactly what I actually needed. How very unusual these days to get such customer service! Despite the urgency of their task, I was never rushed. I will go back on the basis that real value is created by friendly, practical customer care.”

“Interesting polarisation of past reviews but I have to take as I find. I was only looking for advice and was upfront about the reason when I popped by. The shop manager was extremely helpful and spent a good 20-25 minutes taking me through all the complications of raw dog food. As a new owner I had some pretty dumb questions but I didnt get the sense at anytime that I had outstayed my welcome. The Owner clearly had a depth of experience (with dogs at least) and was happy to guide me. I would be surprised if you get that level of service in Pets at Home etc but it is a relatively small shop, heavily stocked so if room to push your shopping trolley is a priority, its possibly not the shop for you?”
