The Tea Cosy
● Open“Was looking for a local cafe for a vegetarian breakfast with good reviews, we were originally going to another cafe but luckily we decided to try this little gem! We were warmly greeted and seated quickly (given we are in the midst of COVID19). We were given paper menus and all the tables were socially distance well with a track and trace QR code on the door too. It was really well protected and safe for the patrons of the cafe. Our order was taken and we were served an amazing fresh breakfast with a tea each, for me it was a perfect portion (not too much and not too little) and filled me up. Refills were free which was great value given that they came free with our breakfast. The food is fresh and tasty and I highly recommend the vegetarian to fellow veggies or those wanting a leaner option. The hostesses were all friendly and lovely people, from a little chat when ordering to a joke when paying, it made this little cafe pop out and make it feel more like you were at a friends or family members kitchen for brekkie. I only have praise for the ladies (didn’t see any men but if there was them too). Cost was shockingly low and when we were presented with the bill I thought something was missed off but I was told nope that’s all it is, I will be going back for all the reasons listed above. Plus at this price it makes it hard to even make my own brekkie for less. Highly recommend this to all and remember to tip and support these business in these times, they are going above and beyond to keep us safe. Huge thanks to all of the hostesses (and hosts)!”

Friends House
● Closed118b High Street, Hampton Hill, Hampton TW12 1NT, United Kingdom“I love the indoor plants, the chill jazz music, and the choice of alt milks at this place. A downside is that the milk (for a flat white) wasn't steamed hot enough and so lacked texture, but the flavour still good, and it's nice to know that the beans are sourced from an independent roastery. The cakes are delicious, if not indulgent. There are also vegan/ gluten free options.”

Sista Barista Cafe
● Open“Doesn’t it feel amazing when a stranger greets you with a smile. Was on a walk yesterday in town and was desperately looking for an independent cafe as my new target is to help out local outlets n shops as much as possible so after hunting and walking around I saw this small cafe and it was already post 4pm so I wasn’t sure it would be open but it was. I hopped in and ordered my favourite Mocha and a small hot chocolate for a friend. Patient staff and maintained all COVID distance. She freshly brewed my coffee which they source from @nudecoffeeroasters Yummy and affordable. I always tht cafe’s in central london are bound to be overpriced but to my surprise it was pretty reasonable. Had a cozy interior and warm. The windows were covered in tiny rain drops and fairy lights just made it s beautiful sight! I love it when people love and work passionately and the server here was so kind and sweet! Must visit if you are in the neighbourhood.”

Mammasantissima Ristorante Pizzeria uk
● Closed“3 words: full neapolitan experience. Enviornment, great. That’s it. Service so familiar and friendly. Ready to guide you on your choices picking the right dish for your taste. Could not take pics cause I was just diving straigh to the plate! Decor, amazing as comfy but classy. Nothing could be more traditional than Mamma Santissina, with an extra touch of charm. Dishes? O.M.G. Each bite from just a spoon of tomato sauce to a bite of pasta or pizza, just like home. You could feel the dedication and passion in each detail: from welcoming, to drinks, to food until the good-bye. The Mamma Santissima Team always make sure you fully enjoy your Neapolitan Experience. I am very picky with details and this place have fulfilled every aspect of it! Charming but familiar. Classy but friendly. That is what the neighbourhood have been looking for. I know for sure that if I don’t feel to cook, that is the place! HOME. Appreciate the devotion. Give what you would like to receive. Worth a visit, 100%!!!”

Casereccio
● Closed“Best place I have visited in a long long time. I have travelled 2 hours to that area and best part was popping by this restaurant unexpectedly and having lunch. Felt like visiting a close family home and having the best food EVER! Their pizza oven, piano, Italian design… their pizza is the best and that strong Italian coffee… so happy I have bought cookies at the Casereccio as if we would live any closer I would buy them way more often. If I’m ever in that area again, I will definitely go back!”
