“Visited this new Gem on a Sunday evening and we live in Kentish town, I had the chicken in mushroom and cream sauce and my partner had the pasta bolognese i have to be honest they both tasted amazingly fresh. I don't get the bad reviews written :S this is a new restaurant and Kentish town needs a family run Italian restaurant lets support them, instead of bad reviews give them examples of what you would expect to see from them, just like we did and got a limoncello shot on the house. “We haven't been to Provender for some time. Our visit was definitely worth while! We were seated right away. All the staff was looking happy which is always good to see. “No one can do what St. JOHN does as consistently well as JOHN does it. Everything is delicious, no matter what you choose. Make sure to make a reservation! It is priceless to have a place you can come back to in a beloved city that upholds the same high quality time and time again. It was a pleasure to bring my partner for his first time. We promised to come back before we leave for home. The chicken liver with brandied prune was my favorite. Our other small pick Smoked Cod's Roe, Egg and Cress was knockout. For large plates we dabbled with a vegetarian option. I was nervous as I ordered the Roast Squash, Sheep's Curd and Watercress, but “Wow!” This dish was perfect and satisfying. The duck leg was awesome! Less chive with the aioli might have been better, but a bold choice none the less. A note on beverages, the sidecar was amazing and perfectly balanced. Can’t wait to return many more times!”

“I often visit during the weekend when supporting young adults with autism the team are kind and supportive and very accommodating to what ever random food requests are made. The warm family welcome has made our young adults comfortable to order independently and to sit and eat. The food options are varied and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend for SEN families to visit for a meal and wander around the garden centre.”
