“Stayed here with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. Wasn’t expecting much more than a bed to sleep. The manager with a big beard, can’t remember his name (I think it begins with a K) was an absolute gent. Helped me with our bags, the parking and gave use great recommendations for places to have fun whilst we were in Kingston. Just because of his demeanour and attitude I would most definitely go back. Absolutely brilliant customer service from him!”

“Bf told me this is his favourite pub in England. Finally had a chance to visit this place with him and I must say, it's pretty good. Welcoming owner who immediately warm-heartedly greets you with "welcome home" (on the way out of the pub, I notice the sign at the entrance that also reads "welcome home"). Nice atmosphere and great lighting. The eclectic decor is a feast for your eyes. Staff got one of our orders wrong but that's ok, we all make mistakes sometimes. Didn't have to wait long for our actual main to arrive. Hope to visit this place again when they have the live band playing.”

“Superb experience. We only live 5 mins away and been meaning to go here since the refurbish / new management. Honestly proud to call this my local. The staff are welcoming, the food is absolutely fantastic (hot honey chicken burger is to die for), and the kids food is great value. It’s quality like gastro pub food, but without the pretentiousness and fussiness. Decor is lovely and clean and tasteful. Well impressed - we will be coming back regularly.”

The manager Is friendly and knowledgable and makes you feel welcome. They have wide range of drinks of course and they have teal Coca Cola and not generic Cola sold in a glass bottle. Today I popped in and had the best visit ever. The chef was taste tasting some new dishes and I just happened to pop in at the right time. Honestly they were delicious, I missed out on the superfood salad because the manager stuffed it down so quickly I didn’t get a chance to photograph or taste it so I can’t give a review about that “sorry” it looked amazing though. The dishes were Comfit Duck leg with dauphinois potatoes, orange braised chicory with red wine sauce “my mouth is watering now damn” it was delicious. The next dish was oven roasted Hake “fish” with roasted seasonal veg, served with lemon butter sauce, honestly this was to die for. Try and visit on one of the few last days of summer.”

“Really lovely Hotel - Staff were friendly and very nice as was the room which was better then many "so called " 4 star hotels. Food in the restaurant was also of a really good quality .From a purely personal point of view and for the price paid it would be nice to have bathrobes and face flannels. That being said I would definitely recommend!”

“Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, packed with everything your pet will need. From the tiniest mouse to the largest dog, (I won't mention horses so I'm not sure what they have!) You'll find everything for your best friend. There's also a vets and a groom room, as I've not used them I won't comment!”
