The Ampersand Hotel
“Definitely a nicer hotel than usual for us, but still very reasonable, especially for London. Great, friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful room, with lots of nice touches, even a rubber ducky for the bathtub. Perfect location right by the South Kensington tube stop. Great neighborhood with lots of bakeries (Gail's!!!) and eateries.”
Le Gothique
“Staying nearby and thought we'd try it. Had 3 course meals. Well presented and served, good vibe to the place. Had a drink in the bar afterwards. Very nice. Good beer SamBrookes Wandle. The guy who served us was very efficient/pleasant/attentive.”
HIDE
“We had the lunchtime set menu with wine pairing at Hide to celebrate my husband’s birthday! The staff and service is excellent and the food was amazing… the bread and mushroom broth before the menu even started was amazing and I could’ve happily had 5 courses of that :-) I really enjoyed the squid ink battered spring onion - it was delicious! The restaurant itself is beautiful and it’s a great location in central london looking out over Green Park!”
Kusadasi Taverna
“Went to a 50th anniversary, my first time there, it was a very nice place , friendly, food good , even a belly dancer , had a great time .”

“Delicious authentic Thai food! Really loved it! The portions are also really good, the prawn dishes have a good amount of prawns, not like in many other places. They also provide good and fast service - perfect for a quick lunch. Will definitely go again.”

The Northall
“A quiet Wednesday evening for them. Excellent from Start to finish. We had an amazing sommelier called Selina who was engaging and wonderful to talk to about her knowledge of wine. The ceviche starter was good as was the chicken mains .both presented beautifully. Desert of gateau was also very good. Had the most amazing wines- the amarone and the pipparello. Will be back next month when the set dinner menu changes.”

The Crown
“Edit August 2022 - five stars. I have visited the pub 6 times and have found the service and food pretty consistent, from the first day of opening to some of their most busiest times in the evenings and sunny days. They do roast dinners very well, the condiments are as good as the food and I suspect they are freshly made on site - horseradish had enough burn, mint sauce tastes fresh etc. There is a good selection of draught, as well as soft drinks. The luscombe brand is well worth trying as a non-alcoholic drink. Soda water is also available by the pint which is good to see. As a vegetarian option (can't remember if they are vegan), the allotment salad is tasty and available as main or small plate. I have had it twice and the leaves have always been fresh. If you don't like much dressing I'd recommend asking for it on the side, however it is the right amount for me. I did prefer the salad to the veggie haggis pie as I felt the flavours didn't blend as well with the rest of the filling. If you enjoy meat options, I would definitely recommend the chicken pie as a hearty option. A nice salad option would be the sticky beef salad, although I would recommend taking it as a smaller portion than the large main. The steak frites was delicious, very well cooked, a tasty steak and you definitely can taste is a higher quality cut. If it is a Sunday, definitely try out the roast dinners, you won't be disappointed. I have tried two of the desserts, a morello cherry sundae (with popping candy) and the dairy free Belgium waffle dessert. I think that both were equally good. The cocktails are great, I also enjoy the hot drinks too. If you are looking to visit in busier times, I would definitely recommend booking. The managers and staff are friendly and hardworking, this pub is definitely a welcome treat for the local area. I'd say, to get this review to 5 stars, it will just come with time as we know the hospitality industry in under pressure and novice staff are undergoing training, which can be more complex than it looks.”
The Twenty Two
“We spent had our family Christmas Day lunch at The 22 and It was wonderful. Most of us had the rost fillet of beef which was cooked to absolute perfection. We loved the margaritas and the manager, I can’t remember his name unfortunately, (maybe Joshua? Like I said, great margaritas) was great and looked after us all day. Thank you we will be back.”

The Rubens at the Palace
“Stayed at The Rubens for one night. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Excellent breakfast choices. Location is amazing. We had a couple of room issues and mentioned them at checkout in order for them to be corrected, we were not complaining as they hadn’t detracted from our stay however Laura was amazing and dealt with it very well indeed. A great base to see the London sights. Would definitely book again.”

Nipa Thai
“Where to eat Thai food outside thailand, it's here baby! Located in a 5 star hotel, the venue is next to the tube station and walking distance to paddintong station. As you enter the hotel to make your way to the restrueant, you feel immediately calm unlike if you are on the street Infront of the resturant and there are people around you that you need to dodge and avoid. The resturant is is smaller than what I had imagined but i guess by having it smaller it feels more intimate, the staff are from Thailand ( I swear they probably know the menu inside out ) friendly and very happy to recommend any food. You can smell food all around you and while you wait for you food, you keep looking everywhere to see what people are eating or have ordered. By the time the food is served, your starving! The food is delicious and the flavour reminds me of asia. Come and try, I am sure you'll never regret it! Food is delicouse, the flavour does remind me of Asia, the smell just makes you hungry”
Air Time Thai
“I've only used Gaab Kao for takeaway, both delivery and collection, but it's a great Thai restaurant. Friendly staff, great prices and delicious food. In my opinion, the best noodles in town!”
Scott's Richmond
“A new place to be in Richmond! we live nearby and was super excited to know that Scott’s is opening in the area. The raw bar selection was great and several oysters to choose from. The crab and the prawn in hot starters was delicious, with a lobster as main. The cocktails selection was great both strong and refreshing option. Shaba and Jerome look after us and so as the entire staff who’s very welcoming.”

“This is one of our favorite spots in London. Pan uses fresh, high quality ingredients and he cooks with love. The Greek salad is so yummy and we can’t wait to try everything on the menu.”
The Pilot, Greenwich
“Really nice pub, great beers on offer and a lovely menu including some vegan options (the burger was delicious). We booked with a group and got the little seating area up the stairs, chairs could do with a refresh as they were a bit grotty but everything else was lovely.”
Guy Earl of Warwick
“Superb experience. We only live 5 mins away and been meaning to go here since the refurbish / new management. Honestly proud to call this my local. The staff are welcoming, the food is absolutely fantastic (hot honey chicken burger is to die for), and the kids food is great value. It’s quality like gastro pub food, but without the pretentiousness and fussiness. Decor is lovely and clean and tasteful. Well impressed - we will be coming back regularly.”
Gurkha's Pride
“Best Nepalese restaurant in London. Spice Shack
“We popped over to this little gem for a work lunch. The food was honestly amazing and service was spot on. I had the grilled Bombay sandwich which was one of the best Bombay sandwiches I have had outside India. Both the dry and masala chips were really tasty and left me wanting more. Can’t wait to visit again.”
Gaucho at The O2
“This was our second outing at gaucho, and as usual I wasn't disappointed. Fortunately we were able to make it for the Sunday roast, unlike the last time. From the reception, the service was top notch. We got ushered to our seats, and our waiter was Marcus. He did a very good job suggesting some fine dishes and wine on the menu.he was friendly and polite in his approach. The Sunday roast was amazing and the sirloin stake was juicy. I had to put a bit of salt but that was on my own perrogative. I loved every bit of the experience and would highly recommend this place again.”
